UPDATE: There are reports of a direct hit by a missile in the West Bank. 7 individuals are reportedly injured in Beitar Ilit and Abu Gosh which is south of Jerusalem.

For those who think don't know why attack on Jerusalem is an attack on multiple religions across the globe. Jerusalem is considered a holy city by three major religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. For Jews, Jerusalem is the holiest city in Judaism and is the site of the First and Second Temples. For Christians, Jerusalem is the site of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. For Muslims, Jerusalem is the third holiest city in Islam and is the site of the Dome of the Rock, which is believed to be the place where the Prophet Muhammad ascended into heaven.

And if one doesn't think this could readily spread to U.S. soil with the millions of illegal immigrants and asylum seekers crossing every year, one would be gravely mistaken.

This is a seriously huge deal. Jerusalem is an important city for multiple religions.
