Trump’s tariffs aren’t about picking a side in a personal feud, they’re about protecting American jobs and industries from unfair trade practices. While Trudeau may call it a “trade war,” Trump’s supporters see his actions as necessary to level the playing field. In their view, standing up for domestic producers is what puts American interests first, even if it ruffles a few international feathers.

That is propaganda to distract from the fact that he has zero concern for the effects of having a pissing match, because of his bruised ego, with Trump and serving his own pride filled ambitions, and how it will affect the Canadian people. He chose pride over the welfare of his people. He chose himself first!
