Yesterday, the Trump administration was rocked by the abrupt departure of counterterror chief Joe Kent, who resigned in protest of Trump’s illegal Iran War because he believed it was being waged on behalf of Israel. Kent is no hero; he is a white supremacist and far-right extremist, which is why he got the job in the first place. But that didn’t stop Trump from trashing him as being “weak on security” in response to his resignation, which of course brings up new questions we need to have answered.
