A rare ground-level view of the Chonhar crossing connecting occupied Crimea with mainland Ukraine, showing the extent of damage to the original bridge and the improvised Russian alternatives. Following Ukrainian strikes on June 7 and 9, 2026, Russian forces began constructing a massive earthen causeway alongside the damaged bridge. The footage shows vehicle using this new crossing, damaged concrete bridge supports and spans, and destroyed sections of the nearby pontoon crossing. The original bridge remains out of full service, with traffic diverted onto this 'temporary' route.

Kiev calls emergency Defense Council meeting as bridge strikes disrupt movement across the Dnepr Kiev authorities are convening an emergency meeting of the city’s Defense Council today to address transportation across the Dnepr following repeated Russian strikes on the Southern Bridge. Public transport is being rerouted through the remaining crossings. Footage from this morning shows residents crossing the Southern Bridge on foot as vehicle traffic remains suspended. The bridge was struck again at 05:04 this morning, just hours after traffic had been restored following yesterday’s attacks.

Another bridge has been struck by Russian KAB glide-bombs in Kramatorsk this morning, this time connecting Kramatorsk to the village of Yasnohirka. The bridge only received damage to one of its lanes, and remains passable for all vehicles. It will likely be struck again in the near future. Yesterday, the main bridge in the centre of Kramatorsk was also hit. This is the second bridge in the city to be hit in the last 24 hours.

A Ukrainian airstrike targeted a highway bridge in the town of Urazovo, Belgorod Oblast. This bridge is used to resupply the Kupyansk and Velykyi Burluk directions. The strike likely came in response to recently intensified Russian assault operations and increased advances in both of these directions. The video does not show the aftermath of the strike, however, considering the munition struck the part of the bridge over land, the damage is likely not major. Coordinates: 50.069131, 38.038237

Russians hit a bridge in Kyiv. At the moment of the strike, a subway train was crossing it, with dozens of cars on the bridge. Pure, unmasked terror. And the world stays silent.
