Charlie Kirk was one of the best of us. Out of all the people the Left could have gone after, they chose the most energetic, the most positive, the most willing to talk with anyone, and they silenced him. Watching the video of his daughter running to him, calling out “Dada,” was unbearable. They didn’t just take a leader in the fight against woke culture, they robbed a little girl of her father and shattered a family. Charlie should have had decades left — he could have even been president one day. Instead, the nice guy, the bridge-builder, was the one they decided to destroy. But this is where they made their mistake. If the Left thought this would demoralize us, they were wrong. They’ve given us a martyr who will unite the Right like nothing else since Trump’s assassination attempt. The infighting ends now. The only option is victory — in every election, every institution, every part of public life. He seemed like the most competent during the event, scanning the crowd up and down never breaking his focus. Once the shot rang out he acted with purpose and seemed to have attended to the neck wound from the moment he touched Charlie all the way to the truck. Charlie had good people around him but the people in charge seemed to be acting highly suspect that day.
