Their statements were identical. Trump obviously pre-approved this statement.

They didn’t “misspeak” — they scripted a lynch narrative, then waited for the outrage to peak. Now Noem shrugs and points upstairs: “Trump and Stephen Miller told me.” Of course they did. The talking points matched because the lie had an author. This is how the machine works: kill the story, smear the dead, then rotate the blame like it’s PR. If your defense is “I was following orders,” you’re confessing — not explaining.
