BREAKING: Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass just confirmed that Trump lied about the National Guard. This morning Trump claimed that if he didn't send the National Guard into LA, the city would have burnt down to the ground. Bass confirms that the National Guard only has one assignment. That assignment is to protect two federal buildings. It has nothing to do with anything else in the city.

Roybal Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse) and the Marines are there to protect the National Guard? Seriously? I thought Trump said that the National Guard has prevented the entire city of LA from burning down? Has any National Guardsmen been harmed? Why do we need the Marines to protect our own military?
