Canada's Carney: Canadians who purchase or lease a battery-electric or fuel-cell electric vehicle will receive up to $5,000, and up to $2,500 for plug-in hybrids priced up to $50,000. To support the Canadian auto industry, this $50,000 cap will not apply to Canadian-made EVs or Canadian-made plug-in hybrids. And these incentives will only apply to vehicles produced in countries with which Canada has a free trade agreement.

After over a year our Government has not had a single formal talk with the US regarding USMCA? Mexico has had them, but not Canada. Canadian industries are right to be concerned. Mark Carney was installed to usher in an agenda that Canadians never voted for. He is not working for Canadians. If you are still under the belief that Carney is going to make "Canada strong" you are a complete idiot.

Canadians deserve more than vague promises about “strengthening ties.” They expect leadership that works collaboratively to deliver real results for Canada. What they are getting instead are photo-ops abroad with little to show for them at home.
