As of today hurricane charts put a Major CAT 3 Hurricane(Francine) just MILES off the coast of Louisiana on September 11th as a Cat 3 with 953mb We still have 3 1/2 days for any changes to happen but based on the "bath water" of the gulf this storm is expected to go through "Rapid Intensification" as it approached the western coast of Texas and LA! NHC models have Texas & Louisiana in the "Cone Of Uncertainty" between now and September 12th! He was a Tropical Storm just 24 hours ago and is now forecast to reach CATEGORY 5 status. This is the first time in 90 years that the first three Hurricanes of the season have all attained Category 4+ strength.
