This is exactly why Jack Fletcher wasn’t sent out on loan. Every time he plays, he shows maturity beyond his years. His vision, creativity and technical ability allow him to play as a No. 8, No. 10 or even deeper in midfield. I genuinely believe he has what it takes to eventually be Bruno successor. Hopefully, Carrick gives him the opportunities to show what he’s capable of this season.

I think the craziest thing about this play is that Jeremiah Smith actually did his job. He got to the outside of the defender to get between him and the bubble. You block him from getting to the ballcarrier, not the BALL. Nobody just jumps a bubble like this, what a play
