The US no longer needs the Hormuz Strait Donald Trump stated that the United States is not interested in the Hormuz Strait because it is needed by others. “We have already defeated Iran. We do not need this strait; we do not use it,” he said. According to him, the strait will "open by itself" over time, and its importance is greater for Europe, South Korea, Japan, and China.

IRGC spokesperson says reopening the Strait of Hormuz will depend on the United States accepting conditions set by Tehran. “The Strait of Hormuz is no longer merely an economic waterway for us; it is a source of power,” he said, adding that the U.S. must stop interfering in ongoing negotiations and accept Iran’s terms for the strait to reopen.

#Breaking 🇮🇷 The naval forces of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announce that they have closed the Strait of Hormuz: 📌 “Since Israel’s withdrawal from Lebanon, the complete lifting of the naval blockade, and the withdrawal of American terrorist forces from the Persian Gulf or the entire region are among the main conditions of an agreement between Iran and the United States, the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until these two conditions are met. For security and calm, all vessels are instructed not to approach the Strait of Hormuz. Any ship that violates this order will become a target.” This is a highly escalatory move that threatens global energy markets, as the Strait of Hormuz is a critical chokepoint for a significant portion of the world’s oil supply. The announcement ties the closure directly to broader regional demands involving Israel and the United States.

🚨 BREAKING: President Trump announces the US is ON THE VERGE of 100% completing the Iran war, and that America will NOT be responsible for securing the Strait of Hormuz once it's won "We are getting very close to meeting our objectives as we consider WINDING DOWN our great Military efforts..." NO FREE RIDES! "The Hormuz Strait will have to be guarded and policed, as necessary, by other Nations who use it — The United States does not!" "If asked, we will help these Countries in their Hormuz efforts, but it shouldn’t be necessary once Iran’s threat is eradicated. Importantly, it will be an easy Military Operation for them."

NEW: Secretary Rubio demanding Iran open the Strait of Hormuz, warning the regime that the Strait will be open "one way or another" if they refuse to comply. This comes as tensions rise between the U.S. and the Islamic Republic following a round of defensive strikes carried out by the United States: "The straits have to be open. They're going to be opened one way or the other... What's happening there is unlawful — it's illegal, it's unsustainable for the world, and unacceptable."

"The problem with the Strait of #Hormuz is really not a military one. It is one of markets, shipping and insurance, and their confidence that passage through the Strait is safe. All Iran needs to do is fire a missile or drone from time to time to undermine this confidence. This confidence cannot be restored by the military but only through diplomacy. We have a number states coming forward now trying to open a backchannel with Iran to negotiate free passage through the Strait. We will see a gradual opening of the Strait for some countries who have agreements in place with the Iranians possibly brokered by Oman. My prediction would be that the US with a military-only President would be one of the last countries to get a free passage."

President Trump has now completely taken over the Strait of Hormuz by implementing a naval blockade and expanding the war against Iran. The U.S. Navy will begin the process of blockading “any and all ships” attempting to enter or leave the Strait of Hormuz.
