Glad they reached this settlement. Not only are kids involved, but there are so many scammers on these sites that are praying on older people too.

California AG said, they stand to receive 1.2 billion dollars from META settlements. AG also said money will be distributed by legislature.

This is not the way. The way is parents actually raise their children, take away their phones, computers, online access or whatever is necessary to keep them off of social media. It's a parent's job to take care of their kids and watch what they do.

A check is not the same as a default. Daily caps and a dark overnight window on Instagram and Facebook only matter if they sit on by default for kids — not buried behind a setting most teens never touched.

They shouldn't be allowed to settle. This thing should've played out

Can Public platforms like X, META, TikTok, be challenged for restricting #FreeSpeech in a public space on a selective basis. Permissible Quotes of important figures can not be requoted. "Government can not Censor Speech, but a private Corporation can" in public spaces.
