🚨Migrant with Knife Threatens Woman Near Penn Station — Former Watson Hotel Resident Arrested A man who previously resided at the now-closed Watson Hotel migrant shelter was arrested Monday afternoon after allegedly threatening a woman with a knife in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. On June 16, 2025, at approximately 2:25 p.m., NYPD officers responded to a 911 call for a male with a knife near West 35th Street and 8th Avenue, within the Midtown South Precinct. Upon arrival, officers were informed that a 41-year-old woman had been menaced by the suspect. The man, identified as 30-year-old Carlos Chiclana Ramos, was apprehended after resisting arrest and attempting to obstruct officers during the encounter.
