I’m wondering why one has to explain that part of More Money States. The APC parades an army of Pathetic illiterates, and they deafen us with their scathing ignorance everyday.

The increased FAAC allocation is due to inflation and the depreciated exchange rate. In absolute dollar terms the allocation to states have not increased or has even reduced.

This is an analysis I don’t see often. The allocation to States did not necessarily increase. The value of the money they receive is pretty much the same.

Let me explain As he implied, salaries should be 3-4 times what they were in 2022. States are probably paying double 2022, leaving Civil Servant poorer but celebrating paying salaries and pensions: Wicked Worse, in $ terms, States are receiving less now than in 2022

More like saying they were receiving 150 then and now they're receiving 500, dollar was 150 then, now dollar is 1400 so they're still receiving way less now than what they were receiving before

Sharing is just loot-sharing spree, bribing the States with Allocation or cash dumping, so the local boys do not destabilize the country because of the theft of their patrimony. These are not sustainable. And that's why things are getting worse. The solution is Restructuring or Balkanization. Both are salvationary, one is temporary and the other is permanent. Stop celebrating mediocrity!

How does increase Allocation amount to an achievement?. Some of these journalists should find another job. Should the FG be allocating monies to the Federation Units? The benefit of defending the naira far outweighs the outcome of this floating and removal of subsidies has a spiral effect that a reasonably economy savvy person knows will have a domino effect that will almost crumble the economy if not done with mitigations put in place.
