Punch woke up from sleep 😴, held his plushie like it was his mumma, and gently gave it little kisses… it felt just like how children show love to their mothers. 🥹🐒🧸😍 #punchi #plushiemumma #japanzoo

Today, 🗓️ little Punch, excitedly brought his Oran-Mama 🦧 over to a baby✨🍼 and it’s Mama, 🫶 who many say is Kibi, and held his Oran-Mama up, as if saying, “Look,” 🥺 Then, in the ultimate act of love and kindness. 🐵 It appears Punch left Oran-Mama 🦧 with them. You’re such an incredibly sweet boy, little Punch.🐒❤️‍🔥🌱 #punch #ichikawazoo #punch

Punch with his plushie 🧸😪 Nowadays, he wants to spend time with her in between playing 🥰 Giving tiny kisses, cuddling softly, and trying to fall asleep while holding her close 😴💞 It feels like he pours all his little emotions into that plushie, as if it comforts his lonely sleepy heart 🥺 #punch #punchmonkey

Punch carried his plushie and brought it to Kibi. 🥹 Punch seemed to be saying, "Hello, Auntie! This is my mom. Can you be her guardian for a little while? I'm going to play, and I'll come back later, okay? Don't mind us. 😄" Sweet Auntie Kibi. 😊❤️ Punch happily went off to play after leaving his Ora-Mama with Kibi, who had just welcomed her baby yesterday (5/31). 🧸👶 Kibi looked a little nervous when she saw Punch's plushie, but she didn't say anything. 🥹🥹 What amazes me is that Punch usually doesn't go near new moms, yet he fearlessly went to her. It feels like he knows exactly what he's doing and who will welcome and accept him warmly. ❤️🥹🐒 #punch #punchmonkey

🚨 BREAKING — Troop Hierarchy Moment A larger monkey climbed on top of Punch, and Punch cried out in shock and fear. Thankfully, just as the keeper came out to give food, the bigger monkey lost interest and went for the meal instead. Punch was freed, hid for a short while, and then, as he always does, carefully came back out and stayed pressed close to the keeper.. This is part of troop (hierarchy) behavior. Please cheer for Punch. We truly love him so much ❤️🐒 Startled within the troop — the answer is always the same: right beside his keeper 🐒💙

An updated nighttime moment from Ichikawa Zoo… and Punch has everyone emotional again tonight. 🥺🌙🐒 Late in the evening, Punch was seen sitting quietly alone on monkey mountain holding OranMama tightly while the cold wind moved through the rocks around him. 🧸 And then came the moment nobody expected. Punch slowly leaned forward… gently kissed the plush toy… and pulled it even closer into his tiny arms like he was looking for comfort before sleeping. No chaos. No movement. Just little Punch quietly sitting in the dark with the one thing that always seems to make him feel safe. 🧡

05.3.2026 The day little Punch spent most of his time running and hiding from the big monkeys... 🐒💨 He even got some gentle brushing on his upper lip (check 40-45 sec mark!). After yesterday's big steps forward, today depression and fear hit hard again — he tucked himself behind the mountain, but the moment the zookeepers appeared, punch kun leaped straight onto them without a second thought for food. 🥺❤️
