He was also the UN's Special Envoy on Climate Action and Finance. The only difference between Carney then and today, is that he's now in charge of billions of taxpayer dollars to reach his Net Zero ambitions. It appears, nothing has changed. We still cannot make the weather but we are being overtaxed to try to. The worst part of it all: this is to distract from his failure in negotiating with the US.

Today Conservatives showed up to work for veterans at the Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs, but the Liberals canceled the meeting. Last week as soon as the Liberals had their majority they shut down committees, including improperly adjourning the Veterans Affairs Committee. This week, they are shutting down ACVA by not meeting today and later this week ensuring the meeting is closed to the public without cameras to hide what they plan to do with their new majority. If the past week is any indication, what they plan to do won’t be in the interest of veterans.
