Nottingham University Hospitals is already facing an independent review into serious maternity failings and the devastating experiences of hundreds of families. Now the Trust admits maternity data has been lost. These aren’t meaningless files on a computer. They are records connected to mothers, babies, deaths, injuries and families searching for answers. How does vital maternity data simply disappear? Families deserve to know exactly what was lost, how it happened, whether the independent investigation has been compromised, and who is accountable.
