In the midst of the alleged coup plot, whether true or not, it is clear that some military officers have been arrested. What matters now is that we demand a fair, open, and transparent process. Nigeria has seen far too many secret trials and politically motivated accusations of coup plots in the past. If justice is to mean anything, the public deserves the truth, not another show of force or scapegoating. Let the facts speak openly, let every accused person have access to legal counsel, and let the process restore faith, not fear, in the rule of law.

The media didn’t hesitate to promote the vax passports in Ontario, and they only spoke to people who loved the idea. It was quite disgusting watching them push this messaging & propaganda. RETALIATION: The only candidate who stood up for my Charter rights against censorship in Empress, Alberta, says his election banners and flyers have been removed and stolen from multiple locations. Richard Russell spoke out against the village administrators for blocking my camera during a public municipal candidates’ panel. The village administrators were discriminating against me for exposing millions of dollars in taxpayer funds missing from the village’s financial statements. Russell says he’s not intimidated and wants to restore transparent, accountable governance to Empress — and investigate the roughly $3 million in missing taxpayer funds. Military officers in Gabon have gone on national television saying that they have seized power because elections held over the weekend were not credible. President Ali Bongo who has been in power for 14 years had been declared winner the election with 64 percent of the total presidential vote. The military said that they don’t believe the election was free, fair or transparent. They said the Gabonese government has not been respecting the will of the people for a long time.
