Why do we always see videos of people creating workflows and never using them?

Can you imagine the shake up in SF The number of SaaS products over last two years built to do this OpenAI are ruthless and don't give two effs - that's simple a statement I have zero judgement here, simply respecting the Product tenacity at OpenAI I don't think they've brought anything out that the majority have found useless Everything's done thoughtfully

Can you build agents/workflows via prompts? That's always been the unsolved gap IMO amongst n8n and the rest.

I’m gonna be the first to say, if you cannot use the platform to build things in an open source way, it’s gonna be really hard for anyone to adopt it. Openai could do something cool with this but they could also just put it behind some dumb pay wall which will make it harder for agencies to scale.

If this is what it looks like, OpenAI just built the n8n killer. Visual workflow builder, agent memory, MCP integrations… all native inside ChatGPT. n8n, Zapier, Make… they all just got new competition from the one platform that owns the interface.

honestly, this looks extremely overcomplicated and outdated. you can literally automate this over text. pretty underwhelming if this is what they're actually going to release. i'm building this over just pure text.

It's more like LLM-powered workflows than true autonomous agents. Real agents should decide their own actions, spin off sub-agents, and adapt on the fly, like Claude Code already does.
