AND HE IS STILL WALKING FREE. His name is... Denis Maldonado-Reyes, he's 19 years old, in Apopka, Florida. Back in November, troopers say he was driving 90 miles per hour in a 45 zone. Double the limit. His Ford Mustang plowed into the side of a LYNX transit van as it turned. Two people inside that van were k*lled. Jerry Earl, 81 years old. Aida Maldonado, 94 years old. He tried to blame the VAN. Nearly a YEAR later, that fatal case still hasn't been resolved. He pleaded not guilty and he's been walking free the entire time. And what did he do with that freedom? Late last month, a deputy saw his Mustang blow through a four-way stop. Pass a car over a double yellow line. Then TURN OFF HIS HEADLIGHTS in the dark to try to disappear. The chase hit 130mph. License already SUSPENDED for an unpaid school-bus ticket. They CUFFED him at gunpoint. New reckless-driving file. Not guilty again. Granddaughter Edna McGrew is still WAITING on the first case.

Pretty soon our only recourse as a free society will be vigilante justice. Liberal courts and the increasing violence from the left towards the right is going to come to a head sooner rather than later. God help our country then.

And yet had he killed someone during the pursuit no one would be talking about him or the victims. Instead the activist & lawyers would be screaming about why police couldn't just let him go & look for him later.

In the past their relatives wouldve have served justice themselves by now. One of the reasons for the guarantee of a speedy trial was to discourage vigilantism. The "social contract" ain't looking so hot right now.
