Massive news: I was commissioned by xAI to create a short film in 2 days using only Grok Imagine 1.0 (stills and video). So in honor of Groundhog Day, here it is: "Routine" a film about a man in a time loop in suburbia. Thank you so much to the xAI team and Elon Musk for this opportunity! If you're an AI video creator, you may notice that I've cracked character consistency in Grok Imagine with this project (check out the kitchen scene). I will do a follow up post explaining exactly how I did that (it was not just prompting).

"At the Edge of the Galaxy" – Episode 1 I created this video entirely using AI, specifically the Grok Imagine software. I developed the script with Grok . Then I produced it using all the tools available in Grok Grok Imagine , particularly the Agent mode, which saves a tremendous amount of time. I made this video alone, using just a standard computer. I was blown away by the ability to create dialogue that sounds authentic and worlds filled with such lifelike creatures. The consistency of the characters and locations is excellent, and the realism is breathtaking. I don't see what is stopping anyone today from creating a film entirely conceived using AI with Grok Imagine. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I will be happy to answer them. And if I'm a spectator, I can't really influence the direction of AI, but if I'm a participant, I can try to influence the direction of AI and have a maximally true seeking AI with with good values, that loves humanity, and that's what we're trying to create with Grok. Grok was the only one that weighted human life equally. You want a curious truth seeking AI. And I think a curious truth seeking AI will want to foster humanity. As long as there's at least one AI that is maximally truth seeking, it will cause embarrassment for the other AIs, and then they improve. They tend to improve just in the same way that acquiring Twitter and allowing the truth to be told and not suppressing the truth forced the other social media companies to be more truthful in the same way, having Grok be a maximally truth seeking, curious AI will force the other AI companies to be more truth seeking and fair."

The AI is infinitely patient and friendly you can yell at it, and it’s still going to be very nice.
