BREAKING: President Biden just announced a huge executive order that protects undocumented spouses from deportation. Since Republicans in Congress are allergic to getting things done, our President is securing the border and addressing a compassionate need to keep families together.

He just signed another executive order a week or two ago because Congress refused to do anything. In other words, he tried to go through the proper channels first. Already had a bill drafted after months of negotiations with conservative GOP Senators. Then trump cried about it, and everybody backed down away from it. But it was ready to go. A ton of Republicans said it was the best bill they'd seen in a long time. Democrats actually hated the bill. Biden even publicly offered to give trump the credit if he got Republicans to let it pass. But he refused. So, since they wouldn't move on it, Biden took matters into his own hands, because that's what grown ups do.

I hear people saying he should have done all these orders earlier. It’s just politics. No, Biden hates executive orders. He rather things be done legislatively as it should be. But that is completely broken so he’s going to fix what he can.
