If you lived through this era, you aren't looking for apologies from the players. We're thanking them for the most entertaining run of baseball ever.

I’m on these guys’ side in these PED arguments, but if you’re going to own it…OWN THE WHOLE THING. Say you did them because they made you awesome. Don’t say it was for injury recovery unless you did it once or twice. If you did it habitually and often, don’t say it was injuries

these players should have to apologize. Sammy and Mark saved baseball in 98. The sport was hurting post strike. Everyone in the sport knew what the players were doing. They allow managers like LaRussa in the HOF along with Selig and they turned a blind eye on steriods.

The PED era left some sore feelings with me, but that was an exciting time to be a baseball fan. The rich history of baseballs records, and those records being shattered, are what led to conflicted feelings. But they played with huge likable positivity.

Saw Sammy in a spring training game at Maryvale field in AZ and he hit what the announcer said was 505 feet. I've watched baseball for decades and still never seen anyone hit a ball that far. Spring training but still

mlb pimped McGwire, Sosa, and others for television ratings and media attention. Then they discarded them like a used washcloth.

Weak - Either man up and come completely clean, or STFU Sammy.
