Earlier this week, some folks said I was stereotyping white voters in New Orleans. What I’ve been doing is stating facts: in Louisiana, white voters consistently choose the white candidate over the Black candidate. The data proves race plays a major role in how most white voters cast their ballots — and that includes New Orleans. Race plays such a role in Louisiana politics that there’s a case before the U.S. Supreme Court right now that could gut the Voting Rights Act and erase Black electoral power. If everyone else considers race when they vote, Black voters put ourselves at a disadvantage if we don’t. When you cast your ballot, ask yourself: am I aligning with the liberators or the oppressors of this generation? And if your response to my post sounds like the lawyers Liz Murrell has before the court arguing against our rights, it’s time for reflection. There are people working every day to deny Black political power — aligning with them is a risk that’s never worth the reward. Whose side are you on? I’m on the freedom side.

Looks like Iran just successfully triggered Pete Hegseth into a full public meltdown right in front of his own kids.
