This is not a Chinese family going on vacation with their dog. This is a dog likely bought from a wet market for meat. They have tied the poor animal to the back of their car and are driving on the highway as if he is just luggage. He has no idea what is waiting for him. That is what makes this so heartbreaking. This dog is still alive, still trusting, still innocent — and yet he is being treated with no care, no mercy, and no dignity. Dog meat eating is still a cruel reality in parts of China. Many of these dogs are stolen pets or helpless strays. No dog deserves this fate. Dogs are companions. They are not food.

You're right. Here's a malinoise in action. They need to be stimulated regularly. That's one thing some people don't know yet. They get dogs because they have the money and they like it. One of the things they don't consider is the energy level of the dog. If you know you won't have time to keep them trained and engaged, it's better to get low energy dogs.

“Met Police can go to hell.” Palestine Action and its supporters have sent a clear message: they have nothing but contempt for Metropolitan Police frontline officers. When a group of extremists takes to the streets to defend a soon-to-be proscribed terrorist group and protest against those who risk their lives to keep our streets safe, it is a frighteningly clear indication that something has gone very wrong in this country. The authorities have a lot to answer for. When you order off of places like Amazon, they tell you to keep your dogs inside so that the drivers can deliver your products safely. When this driver arrived, there were two dogs barking behind a metal gate. They were perceived as aggressive. So she left the package behind the gate and moved on. The customer was mad that the driver left it in an area with the dogs, the dogs chewed on the package and ruined the products. They are wanting their product refunded because it was chewed up by dogs but it was their own dogs, should Amazon honor this refund?

Notice the multiple dogs pacing back and forth. This is what ethologists call "stereotypic behavior" — psychotic behavior driven by the need to reduce stress. It happens to animals when they are confined in a cage for many hours, but the dogs at Ridglan are confined, and never step outside, for YEARS. I want to emphasize again that this is from Ridlgan's own PR video. They have unlimited access to their own facility and dogs, and this is the best clip they could find. What does that say about what it looks like when the cameras are NOT rolling? We need to get these dogs out. They are all going to be killed off or sent to experiments by July. And if you are an animal lover, we need your help.

One issue I truly hope will finally be correctly addressed post revolution, is the stray dog situation in Iran. Iran has absolutely beautiful dogs. They are gentle, affectionate, and remarkably calm. I’m the type of person who will run up to a dog and start petting it without hesitation, often forgetting that a dog could react aggressively, especially in Iran, where many of these poor animals have endured harsh lives. Yet I have never had a single negative experience with stray dogs in Iran. I have carried them, washed them, and cared for them, and not once did they show any sign of aggression. There are compassionate individuals trying to help where they can. Some people have built small informal networks with local butchers to collect leftover bones and scraps so they can at least feed the dogs. These efforts come from genuine care and personal sacrifice. But this is not a structural solution. It is only a bandage on a deep wound. The current way the government handles the stray population is cruel and inhumane. Dogs are captured, their mouths are taped shut, and they are left to slowly starve. At the same time, ordinary people face heavy restrictions on keeping dogs. Small dogs can sometimes be hidden inside apartments, but larger ones are nearly impossible to keep. If you walk your dog outside, you risk it being confiscated. Even inside your own home, a hostile neighbor can report you simply for owning a dog, and authorities can act on that complaint. This creates an environment where ownership is punished, while the real problem continues unchecked on the streets. What Iran needs is a humane, practical, and modern solution: 1. A nationwide Catch–Neuter–Vaccinate–Release (CNVR) program 2. Properly managed municipal shelters with medical standards 3. Public education and cultural change We have many urgente matters to attend to after this vile and evil regime falls.

While we are cooking food for thousands of stray dogs and it’s magical to see how many of them now come directly to the kitchen for their share. While we prepare the meals, they patiently sit inside and outside, as if they know their food is on the way. Look at this furry fellow, constantly observing the preparation. It almost feels like he’s auditing the process, giving signals to the other dogs that everything is going well and food will soon be served. We feel so blessed to witness this trust and joy every day. None of this would be possible without your kind love and support together, we are keeping so many tails wagging and bellies full.
