Penn State head football coach Matt Campbell believes in mastering the basics, not becoming a jack of all trades. " You've been there. Your team's not good enough yet. So you try to out scheme everybody. And really what happens is you become the jack of all trades, master of nothing. And we're always trying to catch up 'cause we're just not good enough. So we're gonna out scheme you. Which honestly, it sets your program back. And so what we did is really simple. We're gonna be really good at quarters. We're gonna play four down. We're gonna play base defense. We're gonna play quarters. We're gonna learn how to tackle. We're gonna learn how to run into the football. First drill we do every single day on defense is pursuit drill. Now we're 10th in the country in total team defense. You know what we do really well? We run with the football. You know what we did on offense? We took two run plays. We took three pass plays. But we got really good at it. We became great teachers again instead of trying to be the jack of all trades We got back to what allowed our kids to learn and grow and develop to be the best they can be."

Hassett: "The basic theory of President Trump's tariffs is, sure, we're importing stuff from China, but we've got producers in the US who make stuff, maybe at a slightly higher place. If we bring the stuff home, create the demand at home, then that will hurt China and drive up wages in the US and American consumers will be better off ... consumers were made better off by the tariffs."

CNN contributor and former military lawyer Margaret Donovan says both Pete Hegseth and Admiral Bradley are complicit in war crimes after double strike on Venezuelan drug boats. “This is so basic to everybody who has served in the military and who has trained on the law of war and the law of armed conflict that it is a war crime, that it's no surprise that the administration will be trying to shift the blame…If the facts really have played out the way that it is being reported, he absolutely had a duty not to follow an unlawful order if it was Secretary Hegseth's order.” It’s as if they want Pete Hegseth to be guilty.

Not good if true… Matt Gaetz says the Republican Party, and by extension President Trump, is beginning to accept the Idea of UNIVERSAL BASIC INCOME “I will be telling my grandkids what it was like to order food from a person. — We have 7 million men who make their living driving today, those jobs are GONE in the next half-decade.” Where do those people go? “That’s when you’ll start to see calls for universal basic income. We will say there’s such wealth being created on these tech platforms and I worry that will zap the motivation in the country in a bad way.” He says republicans will want to compete with democrats on the notion of “free stuff”, so they will likely create their own version of it when jobs start going away.
