Here is why mandatory animal testing costs patients their lives! In addition to what I explained in the video, many drugs with potential in humans fail because they were rejected in animals, and vice versa. 4/10

Even when drugs are tested on nonhuman PRIMATES they can still kill people, which is not surprising. Animal testing results are not necessarily translatable to humans, and they can even mislead us, leading to catastrophes like drug trials TGN1412, aka the Elephant Man Trial: 5/10

Why animal testing fails so often? Glad you asked! Because every animal species is physiologically, anatomically, biochemically, and immunologically different! We can never overcome the issue of external validity with animal testing! 6/10

⚠️Don't let them fool you! 🤥 That there is animal welfare act to protect animals! It's not properly enforced by @USDA and doesn't cover most animals at all! Or that animals are used as the last resort! That's just what we tell you so you let us continue 🙃 7/10
