A train coming from Badlapur was taken on PF 5 instead of PF 4 which was occupied by another local. The local trains have been backed and now movement is restarting. The PF 5 to 8 were blocked and movement was stopped from 3.18pm Now the backing is complete and the movement is starting. There was a signal between these two local trains. CSMT Internal Home for Suburban Platforms was in red condition hence the Motorman stopped the train. Also the distance between the two trains was more than 130 meters.

A seemingly small fight over a seat in a Mumbai local train escalated into a full-blown language row earlier this week, with one woman telling the other to learn Marathi or “get out”. The incident took place on Friday evening in a crowded ladies’ coach of the train running on the Central line. A video of the incident went viral on social media, in which six to seven women can be seen arguing over a seat - something that is not strange to a Mumbai local. A fire broke out in a private bus in Malad East on Tuesday morning.The incident occurred at 10.01 am. Passengers were immediately evacuated from the bus as flames engulfed the vehicle. Firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control by 10.33 am. No injuries were reported in the incident. Several agencies were mobilised to handle the situation, including the Mumbai Fire Brigade, Mumbai Police, Metro authorities, the 108 ambulance service and the traffic police. Traffic movement in the area was briefly affected as emergency teams worked to douse the fire and secure the site.
