Security footage showed an adult male and a juvenile female working together to steal two high-value guitars by concealing them under a jacket and leaving the store unnoticed. A Guitar Center employee in another state later located the stolen guitars for sale online and recognized the same suspects from previous incidents. The pair has been linked to thefts at least four Guitar Center locations across WA, CA, and OR, and are believed to be part of an organized retail theft operation. A Redmond detective contacted the suspects through the online listing, and on Nov. 28 the male suspect arranged a meetup to sell one of the guitars.
