I remember riding it backwards about 30+ years ago. They had one set of cars going forward and one going backwards. In grade school our student council went at the end of the school year and that's why everyone wanted to be in student council lol.

The Beast at Kings Island is the longest wooden roller coaster. T Express is the tallest (Everland, South Korea), and Goliath is the fastest and steepest at SFGA. What took so long for the Eagle to race though 🎢🙏😊?

Nothing as adrenaline pumping as the Cyclone. Rickety old coaster. They had the Hell Hole at Coney Island through at least the 80s. Gas powered, floor drops out, walls just planks, no cushion. Operator and his friend jumped down once they started it, positioned horiz, lit joint

NEW: A new family area CAMP TIMBER TRAIL is coming to Six Flags Great America in 2027, featuring SKY HAWK - the Midwest's longest, tallest and fastest suspended family coaster. The new area will transform the Yukon Territory section of . The new roller coaster will be the centerpiece attraction of the newly themed section of the park. The park says the ride will "send riders soaring through treetops on an exhilarating flight that combines thrills with stunning views of the woodland landscape below." The coaster is located in the area formerly home to the Winner Circle Go Karts. TRAIL TROTTERS will be another new attraction, "an imaginative animal trek that invites guests on a wilderness journey filled with exploration and discovery." It looks like this will be located in the former Camp Cartoon area of Yukon Territory. CAMP TIMBER TRAIL will also feature numerous rethemed former attractions, including: CHIRP CHASER: This will be the former Sprocket Rockets roller coaster. It's still there, but getting a new theme. WILDERNESS WAGON: This is the former Crazy Bus attraction CREEK CRUISER: This is the former Yahoo River ride, featuring boats that travel slowly in a circle. BEE BOPPIN': These are the beloved Buzzy Beez that travel in a slow circle. They'll get some slight new theming and a new spot in the park. He suggested that players should be able to get on and off whenever they wanted. However, since it likely couldn’t be implemented in the game, that idea wasn’t discussed much afterward. But the directors wrapped up that part by saying, “Then just join Nexon and keep giving us ideas.” But in 2023, MapleStory announced plans for Maple Land at Lotte World. 2 of 9: The Demon A Retro Bay Area Series: The Early Days of Great America in the late 1970s. 🎡🎠🎢🎟️ The Demon opened in 1976 and is still in operation today. The original roller coaster opened under the name Turn of the Century, and four years later, in 1980, it was converted into The Demon. Although Turn of the Century already took riders upside-down twice in its corkscrew, vertical loops on roller coasters were a highly marketable novelty in the late 1970s. By removing the two hills after the first drop and replacing them with two consecutive vertical loops, Great America could essentially market The Demon as a new and exciting roller coaster without actually installing a new one. To enhance the transformation, an elaborate Demon theme accompanied the dramatic changes to the track configuration. A fog-filled tunnel was added between the station and the lift hill, and rock structures were built that interlocked with the new vertical loops. Following the loops, another tunnel with sophisticated lighting effects was added. At the corkscrew entrance, a demonic rock formation would swallow each passing train before it sped by a blood-red waterfall. In addition to the tunnels and other special effects, a Demon theme song played in the area where people lined up. Over the years, certain theme elements have been removed altogether.
