They are bad for business and worse for consumers. They are disrupting supply chains. They bring uncertainty for the economy. Jobs are at stake....

Europe can afford all their social welfare programs because they don't pay their own way. Funny that tariffs are only bad when the Trump applies them. Biden doubled tariffs on China last fall and they were for "protecting US jobs" but when Trump does them, it's a tax.

Trade imbalances with Europe hit $178B in 2023. While NATO allies averaged 1.4% GDP on defense, U.S. taxpayers shouldered 3.49%—subsidizing EU social programs through American military spending. The data is clear: $400B in annual NATO costs, with U.S. covering 70%. Meanwhile, EU maintains 15% tariffs on U.S. goods while demanding open access to American markets. Trump-era tariffs recovered $23B in 2020 alone. When faced with reciprocal trade terms, EU officials proposed negotiations—proof that accountability works. Real reform means equal partnership. Fair trade requires both sides carrying their weight. The numbers don't lie: decades of one-sided deals cost American workers trillions. Balanced trade isn't optional in a functioning global economy. For manufacturers and workers, it's the difference between prosperity and getting left behind.

These assholes already have tariffs on us. The EU is freedom hating scum. Raise the tariffs higher. Leave NATO. Sanction any European country that has open borders and opposes free speech.

This is why we need to pull out of NATO. The EU has been using the United States as their personal ATM for far too long without paying their own way at all.

The US will respond from a position of power. We are much stronger economically than the EU. Buckle up boys and girls.

The 15% EU Pilar 2 taxes, that when into effect on January 1, 2025, are taxes on global profits. Since tariffs are taxes, taxes must be tariffs. Thus, the EU imposed a global tariff of 15% on low-tax global profits and they seem to think it was okay.
