A military helicopter has reportedly crashed within the last hour at Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu, Somalia, specifically inside the Halane Base Camp, which houses foreign nationals, diplomats, and military personnel from several countries, including the United States. The helicopter was reportedly bound for Baledogle Military Airfield to the north of Mogadishu, which is operated by the U.S. Air Force and the African Union Stabilization Support Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM), with at least eight passengers and crew onboard the helicopter at the time of the crash, according to the Somali Civil Aviation Authority. Last night, about 20 Air Force fighter jets attacked dozens of military targets in central Iran, with precise intelligence guidance from the Intelligence Branch. Among the targets attacked were a military site containing components for the production of explosives, sites for the storage and production of weapons, and Iranian air defense systems. A C-130 transport aircraft is visible, along with an Apache helicopter, Patriot air defense systems (positioned behind the Apache), and F-15 fighter jets. This airbase is approximately 20 kilometers from Al Udeid Air Base, and according to some sources, this base's air defense is the reason Qatar Airport is still operating.

China's Z-20T transport assault helicopter. Great for transporting troops with the added missiles and rocket firepower. They are the core of any PLA air assault formations. People often look at the Ukraine war, especially the battle of Hostomel airport, and claim helicopter air assaults are outdated. However, the major problem with Hostomel, was the lack of constant and accurate air support from the Russian air force. If the attacking side has air superiority and constant air support, then helicopter air assaults are extremely useful. There is nothing faster and more accurate than helicopter assaults, when it comes to moving infantry from point A to point B.
