Based on the optics from today at the DOJ, Trump and his team made a conscious effort to make it clear he trusts AG Pam Bondi. He knows what people have been saying online. He knows many are critical of Bondi. Today, he made an effort to show he supports her. I know everyone has an opinion about how to run the government and how to drain the swamp, but ultimately, Trump is the one who gets to make those decisions. He has a plan, and the American People chose him to carry out said plan. If Bondi is compromised or not accomplishing what Trump wants, Trump will know about it LONG before we do, and it will be up to him to correct it. But for the time being, Trump just made a pretty clear statement today that the DOJ under his new administration will be different, and that he has faith in his appointees such as Bondi and Kash. This man was criticized for expecting a “thank you” for a good deed. He always saw the same man walking when he drove to work. He assumed the man was walking because he did not have any other means of transportation. He used his own money and bought the man an electric scooter, the man took the scooter and just silently walked away, no thank you or anything else at all. I don’t think that was too much to ask, a thank you goes a long way, otherwise it makes people look ungrateful. Back in college, I had a classmate that I always saw walking home after class. It didn’t matter whether it was raining or snowing, or hot out. Whenever I drove past him he always looked miserable and I could tell he didn’t like to walk all the time. In class I had asked him where he lived, and I found out it was on my way home so I offered to drop him off because it was really cold out and had snowed about a foot. He agreed and we chatted on the way home, nothing serious just pleasant conversation. I dropped him off and went on my way home. For me this was a one time thing, I only offered because how bad it was snowing. After class the next day, he walked with me and when I got to my car he got in. I didn’t agree or offer him a ride that day but he assumed that since I was ok with giving him a ride the day prior that I would be ok with it this day too. I didn’t say anything about it because at this point I didn’t care really. So the next day came and went, once again he walked with me to the car but that day was different. I wouldn’t be going his way because I had to work after class. So before I got to the car I said “I’ll see you tomorrow.” He looked dumbfounded and said aren’t you taking me home? I said no, I have to get to work. He then asked me how he would get home, and I told him the same way you always have. This gentleman went to get a quick bite to eat, he ordered his sandwich the way he wanted it and when the employee rung him up, he tried to give the cash. The employee became annoyed and told him that due to a system problem, they couldn’t take cash and told him he would be throwing his sandwich away. The gentleman even said that since it was an issue on their end could he just get the sandwich for free since it’s not his fault they couldn’t accept cash and the employee became even more annoyed and said no. I appreciate the time he gave in the segment to talk about the interview Clavicular gave us on Channel 13 and why he left that interview. His name is Argos, and he belongs to Ulysses, the Greek hero also known as Odysseus. So you were able to rally round and repair your phone then during this period your partner who’s suppose to get married to you travelled to Abuja for a work then after you were able to fix your phone he came back and call you that you should come over then when you get his place, you noticed that he came back with two suitcase and because he travelled with only one. When you opened the new suitcase because he was trying to sort out the things that he bought and you’re seeing designer things and you’re just hailing him that the things he bought are looking fine o and he casually said that the purse you’re holding his 1.5million so when you did your calculations you noticed that the things he bought was more than 7million naira, and this was the same person you asked for 450k or even half of the money so that you can get your phone repaired and he said he doesn’t have any money. One thing I’ve always admired about Kobe, after losing in 2008, he didn’t make excuses and he didn’t look for a shortcut. Celtics had 4 All Stars. Kobe could have forced the front office to add more All Stars, or run to south beach and create a super team. He didn’t, he knew what he had was enough and knew what it will take to win. Instead he said “Let’s run it back” Ariza isn’t just the only one. The biggest impact Kobe had was on Pau. Kobe toughened up Pau, showed him what it takes to win. It’s not just “Kobe Stans” who say this, the stars say it too. Just listen to Paul Pierce, he will tell you the same. Without Kobe, Pau would be just another skilled Big! And this is no disrespect towards Pau. He will tell you himself! He truly had the blueprint. He believed the work was the answer. He trained harder, challenged his teammates, and prepared them off the court just as much as on it. That’s real leadership. Not always nice, not always soft, but honest, demanding, and built to win.
