So a guest at the hotel, who assembled his weapons there. That means he did indeed scout the location beforehand, which explains why, in the CCTV camera footage, he's already AT A FULL SPRINT when he rounds far corner in the video. He knows exactly where he's going, running at full speed down the hallway and then turning the near corner. He knew where the ballroom doors were. And it appears as he rounded the near corner, he shoots one of the agents, who awkwardly moves back and then struggles to draw his sidearm.
