🚨 BREAKING: The US jobs report just TRIPLED EXPECTATIONS, adding +178,000 when +59,000 were expected for March CNBC: "This is a BIG NUMBER!" 🔥 Experts in SHAMBLES 🇺🇸

Will you post next month when they have to revise this down to 10,000?

I voted for all this winning!

Tariffs work.

Even when there are headwinds against a Republican president, the economy is in better shape than with a Democratic president who is actively sabotaging the economy.

Fake numbers to stop Trump from drowning.

Trump is also just put billions into our pockets 👇🏾

@JayciKraynek Hardest hit…

Another month, another headline that looks strong at first glance but falls apart under scrutiny. March payrolls rose by 178,000, yet the underlying picture is far less convincing. February was revised sharply lower to a loss of 133,000 jobs, leaving overall employment essentially flat over the past year. Once again, job growth was heavily concentrated in healthcare — a sector largely insulated from slowing economic activity and higher rates. It added 76,000 jobs, accounting for more than 40% of the total, with some of that driven by workers returning after a physician strike. Beyond that, there’s not much to point to. Construction posted only modest gains, transportation is still well below its 2025 peak, and financial services continued to lose jobs. Average weekly hours ticked down, wage growth slowed, and the labor market remains narrow, leaning on public and quasi-public demand rather than rate-sensitive private sector expansion. The deeper you go, the clearer it becomes: the real story looks nothing like the headline. But don’t expect that nuance from the mainstream financial press or Wall Street. They’ll keep pushing the “resilient labor market” narrative, even as that resilience is increasingly confined to sectors shielded from the very pressures hitting the rest of the economy.

Yeah lets forget that Feb was also revised downward to lost over 130k jobs Disaster

fake numbers hit just in time. Economy so strong we can raise interest rates then?

I think you missed something: 178K sounds strong. Until you look underneath. February revised to -133K. March: 76K of 178K from healthcare alone. 43% of the total. Mostly a strike bounce. Outside healthcare: hours down. wages down. financials negative. The headline is doing the heavy lifting. The labor market isn't.

When does the downward revision come?

ABSOLUTE MORON

You can debate policy all day, but numbers like this speak loud. 178K jobs added is real impact. That’s people working, families earning, momentum building. Big deal.

But I thought they said Trump would kill the economy?

@realZaedrek If recent history tells us anything, it’ll be -59,000 in 6 months

How many were H-1B Indian jobs

Moron the previous month was revised down, so have an average of 50k added over the last two months. Also yet again most of the jobs created were health care. Just keep your dumb mouth closed.

@Reversequestion

They take the splashy headlines and then months later dramatically revise the Jobs numbers downwards. This has been happening with every report for years straight at this point

@eabra48463 Liberals " everything is worse under Trump!!!" I suppose maybe for them, they don't like working.

And then revision next month. We made a mistake and sorry we have another negative number

Sure better than before. Good (for the country).But not as wonderful as Trump/GOP would like you to believe. Folks it’s a 0.1% decrease in unemployment!! With Trump aren’t we supposed to see double digit growth in jobs!? We are not because the economy under Trump is faltering. And jobs for you and me aren’t there! Misleading news with a grain of salt!!

@JB_Slear How many times does the man (Trump) have to be RIGHT before it becomes mathematically impossible? Asking for a friend….

And then we’ll see a big revision down next month where the report will fall to the expected 61k. Don’t believe me? Look at the last 5 reports and the drop in estimates.

Job searching is now the most soul-crushing endeavor ever. This jobs report does not match the reality on the ground. Our tech industry has been completely surrendered to foreign nationals! Ethno-nepotism has spread through corporate America, like a cancer. We need the work visas canceled, and offshoring to be addressed. Spouses of H-1B should not receive work authorizations. I voted for America First!

@gymrat672024

I can't wait to see where we are a year from now. I just wish that it was moving a little bit faster. People are still not thriving like they want to be and I'm afraid the midterms are going to reflect it. 😕 I just wish that some people would understand how beneficial all of this is going to be for the future of this country.

Fantastic news it really eclipsed the expectations.

Still not sure why you haven’t suited up for the Iran war.

What were the 2025 numbers?? Talk about ‘shambles’ and failure.

@dinahgirl88 CNBC struggling for the Negative in a Positive numbers

Another month has passed, and yet another news headline emerges that, at first glance, seems impressive but doesn't hold up to scrutiny. 178,000 new jobs were created, far exceeding the expected 59,000—this sounds astonishing, but...

Until they’re revised down like every month last year
