FALSE☝️…as always. - Burchett requested unanimous consent to discharge H.R. 4405 (the Epstein Files Transparency Act sponsored by a Republican & DEM) but the motion was rejected by the Republican House Speaker on technical grounds. IOW, it never came up for a vote due to Republican leadership. - Republicans hold the House majority & could easily schedule the bill thru regular order if leadership prioritized it. Instead, they’ve repeatedly slow-walked or outright blocked similar Epstein-related measures. If Burchett were serious about transparency, why didn’t he push for this during the previous Congress or secure the necessary clearances in advance? Or why isn’t he the one leading a discharge petition to force a vote, which requires 218 signatures?

They blocked it because they know Trump isn’t in the files and they want to keep claiming that he is.
