Absolutely devastating news. The child that the media claimed died from measles actually died from medical malpractice. Dr Pierre Kory outlines two big failures the hospital had in her treatment: 1. They didn’t adjust the antibiotics after she continued to decline. 2. They delayed administration of a new antibiotics for 10 hours after they had confirmed test results. The delay was fatal. Dr Kory says the hospital did one important thing right. They were treating her for pneumonia- not just measles. Later in this conversation, they mention that the parents don’t want this to be used to spread propaganda like the media has. They want this to save any other child that comes in with the same condition.

Governor Josh Shapiro claimed that two people recently died from measles in Lancaster County. The Lancaster County Coroner (the person who would know if someone died of measles in the county) just said that it WAS NOT TRUE. The coroner said that a child died shortly after birth but that measles in no way contributed to the death of the child. The coroner also said that he knows absolutely nothing about a second person dying in the county of measles. Shapiro lied. It was most likely another stunt by another Democrat candidate to boost a campaign for President. Scaring the public with lies about public health is as low as it gets.
