BREAKING: Three ballistic missiles launched from Iran reportedly struck near Shuwaikh Port in Kuwait City. I’m old enough to remember when the United States went to war after Iraq invaded Kuwait. Now Iran is firing ballistic missiles at Kuwaiti territory.

Iran launched several ballistic missiles and drones at U.S. bases in Kuwait and the U.S. 5th fleet base in Bahrain, in response to earlier U.S. airstrikes on Iranian military infrastructure on Qeshm Island. Several explosions have also been heard near the city of Sirek, Hormozgan Province, Iran, likely from additional U.S. airstrikes.

BREAKING: Iran has launched another anti-ship ballistic missile, apparently targeting ship-to-ship oil transfers in the Strait of Hormuz. This marks the third anti-ship ballistic missile Iran has launched in the strait today. Iran may be changing its approach, relying more on ballistic missiles instead of drones and cruise missiles. Anti-ship ballistic missiles are harder to intercept and can engage targets at longer ranges.

🚨🇰🇼 🇮🇷 BREAKING: New footage appears to show American missiles launching from Kuwait toward Iran tonight. -The video reportedly captures ATACMS or PrSM launches out of Kuwait, part of the strikes CENTCOM began at 8 p.m. ET -Ground-launched missiles fired from Kuwaiti soil would put a Gulf host country directly in the firing chain, something unconfirmed reporting flagged earlier this month when analysts tied strikes near Ahvaz to HIMARS in Kuwait -Iran's Army has already claimed strikes on HIMARS positions at Camp Arifjan, framing them as answers to "US missile attacks on Iranian territory," so Tehran clearly believes the launchers are there -No CENTCOM confirmation of the launch site -The strikes answer two nights of Iranian missiles at U.S. forces in Jordan, all intercepted Writer: Daniel

Iran Fires Ballistic Missiles Toward Strait Of Hormuz Two missiles were reportedly detected on trajectories consistent with ANTI-SHIP BALLISTIC MISSILES. The targets remain UNKNOWN, with speculation they could be aimed at stationary ship-to-ship oil transfers. Iran is cracking down HARDER.

🚨 BREAKING UPDATE: The US military carried out “SELF DEFENSE STRIKES” on Iran’s Qeshm Island, before Iran launched missiles at US military installations in the region NO US servicemembers were injured, thank God. One of the Iranian missiles seems to have BROKEN APART in the air, causing burning shrapnel to rain down on Kuwait Full statement from CENTCOM: “U.S. forces successfully defeated multiple Iranian ballistic missiles and drones, and conducted self-defense strikes on Qeshm Island in response to attempted attacks by Iran across the Middle East, June 2. Iran launched several ballistic missiles toward regional neighbors; however, all failed to hit their intended targets. Two Iranian missiles fired at Kuwait fell short or broke apart enroute, and three missiles launched at Bahrain were immediately intercepted by U.S. and Bahrain air defense forces. Moments earlier, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces shot down three one-way attack drones launched by Iran toward civilian mariners that were rightfully transiting regional waters. American forces also conducted self-defense strikes on an Iranian military ground control station on Qeshm Island.”
