Padilla | Alexander Hall, Fox News Ex-FBI agent argued it would have been 'special treatment' to allow Padilla to interrupt CNN security analyst and former FBI agent Josh Campbell defended Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and the agents Thursday who forcibly removed Sen. Alex Padilla, D-Calif., during his viral outburst. Video of the incident showed Padilla trying to walk up to Noem while she was speaking at a podium during a press conference in Los Angeles about the riots. Padilla simultaneously attempted to shout over Noem, but law enforcement stepped in and forcefully stopped Padilla's advance. Padilla was eventually taken to the ground and handcuffed, the video showed. Fox News reporters who were present said Padilla appeared to be detained for a period of time. Padilla identified himself in the midst of the altercation. "I know we are in a politically charged climate, but from a law enforcement perspective, this was neither the fault nor the responsibility of DHS Secretary Noem," Campbell argued. "She’s in the middle of a press conference. There’s someone who interrupts and then makes it clear by his movements that he is not going to comply. He’s taken out. Again, I don’t think any of that was her responsibility." Earlier, he explained how the story could be divided into three distinct moments that will be scrutinized in the days to come. "First, you have the DHS secretary who was addressing the press," he said. "This was not a Q&A period, and she was interrupted. She was interrupted by someone who was speaking very loudly. And so her security detail confronts what we obviously now know to be the senator. And at that point, he is now going to be escorted out. You can’t interrupt something like that that’s already in progress without having those consequences." Campbell explained one key moment when security agents at the event realized Padilla would refuse to comply. "But the second incident, in my view, happens the moment — as officers are trying to lead him out — he then turns and walks back towards kind of into those agents," Campbell said. "At that point, from a security detail perspective, we’re taking this person out against their will. We’ve asked the person — and again, this is all happening very quickly — but the moment he then turns into them, they realize this is not someone who is going to comply." The third incident, he noted, was when the agents had the senator handcuffed on the ground. "Now there will be big questions raised about those kinds of tactics," Campbell said. "Were there other options that were available to the federal agents as well — as the FBI police officer there — who is responsible for security in that FBI building? What they do is they actually order him to his knees and then quickly shove him down to the ground where he is then handcuffed." This incident, which has drawn outrage from Padilla's fellow Democrats, will face some scrutiny, he warned. Federal law enforcement issued multiple lawful commands and verbal warnings, all of which were ignored. While trying to safely clear the area, a grey sedan sped down the road and boxed in Border Patrol. Border Patrol gave repeated warnings to the driver to back his car up which he refused. Kyle Shanahan on Curtis Robinson: “He's really worked to get better each year, and he's a very talented guy. I think when he came here, he hadn't played in a system like this for a while. It took him a little bit to kind of pick that up, but we so believed in him as a guy and his talent level that after a year, you could start to see it clicking. He became a big asset on special teams, and last year was the first time that we really believed he was going to step in there, really contribute at linebacker at a high level. It was actually kind of a sad story, but it was about 20 minutes before he tours ACL, was the first time that I told him he'd be starting that week. It was his first start in his career, and he had earned it. We were going to move him ahead of Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles at the time. I had just told Flannigan, which was tough for Flannigan, but they were so tight, so he was happy for Curtis. Then it was about 20 minutes later that Curtis tore his ACL on special teams before he even got to a defensive rep. He was so coming in there and finally about to have his moment. It took him a little bit to kind of pick that up, but we so believed in him as a guy and his talent level that after a year, you could start to see it clicking. He became a big asset on special teams, and last year was the first time that we really believed he was going to step in there, really contribute at linebacker at a high level. It was actually kind of a sad story, but it was about 20 minutes before he tours ACL, was the first time that I told him he'd be starting that week. It was his first start in his career, and he had earned it. We were going to move him ahead of Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles at the time. I had just told Flannigan, which was tough for Flannigan, but they were so tight, so he was happy for Curtis. Then it was about 20 minutes later that Curtis tore his ACL on special teams before he even got to a defensive rep. He was so coming in there and finally about to have his moment. Then he had that setback, which I know crushed the team for him. He's one of the most liked guys on our team, as good of a person and good of a dude as I've ever been around. Yes on the videos we have so far. The initial encounter was him filming them. There was no gun being brandished. They jumped out of vehicles to go to try to intimidate him. Unfortunately there's no video yet between then and when they had them on the ground. When they had him on the ground they were pistol whipping him, at first it looked like a baton, but it's actually a gun. They had him down with at least five officers. You got to wait for a second so he tried to stand up they shot him in the back he was motionless after they shot him in the back. Then there were four more shots or more after that unloaded into his body from a posture of standing above him. Not a defensive posture. He's supposedly has a gun. It looks like ICE took something out of a holster. So it's likely that he did have a HOLSTERED GUN in an open carry state that is not a reason to shoot someone to death. He was not brandishing it -- again it was his camera. That was the reason for the initial approach was to intimidate him about his camera. It is perfectly legal to film ice This is out not murder once again. Now there is some sort of speculation on social that a gun was dropped and a bullet went off. That would be the ICE AGENTS who took the gun out of his holster. I'll post some videos for people to see in the order that they happened.

🐰 i still remember when we went overseas on tour, taehyun said that his body was sweltering after the concert so he was going to have a ice shower and brought a bunch of ice 🐿️😆😆😆 🐰 he was like “this is refreshing~” and had a lower body bath and the next day he looked like he was dying 🐿️ i got a body ache all over the next day 🐰 i saw him and thought “i shouldn’t have a ice bath”…but i don’t go into cold bath tubs either 🐿️ ah really? 🐰 yeah 🐿️ i like it a lot, it’s really cold but there is a little bit of a mental effect of going in there plus it was really hot so i went in and it was very electrifying in a good way…like i was getting healthier! so i was like “this feels great~” but then…i was like “what’s this? i’m definitely out of the ice but it’s still cold..” 🐰 it wasn’t you feeling like you were getting healthier 🐿️ it wasn’t me feeling like i was getting healthier, it was the virus in my body getting healthier

But it gets worse… They then took him to the hospital, and kept him handcuffed to a bed, while masked “federal contractors” stood guard with no identification, no charges, and no explanation. His lawyers tried to reach him and were physically shoved and denied access. Detaining someone without charges, denying access to an attorney, using force without justification, and operating without identification, are violations of basic constitutional rights. And the hospital went along with it… Allowing unknown men to keep someone restrained without verifying who they were, or why he was being held. And if this sounds familiar, it should. According to ICE, Gomes was driving his father’s vehicle at the time—and because he is in the country illegally, he was taken into custody. Hank the tank has had a tough life on the streets and if we had been a day or 2 later he wouldn’t have made it with the maggots eating him. Once he was fully recovered it was very hard to find Hank a home. He couldn’t fly abroad, was a very big boy and also slightly older. The odds were stacked against him. He did eventually find a home but it wasn’t meant to be. The owners were incredible and tried everything with my help but Hank just couldn’t fit in with their existing dogs and we all decided it was best he came back. It’s one of those cases where the owners were incredible but Hank is a very specific dog who has lived on the streets and has some trauma in his past. I was thinking about the best solutions for Hank but while he was staying with me I just realized something very timely for him… Id fallen in love with the big goofball myself. He is the kindest big giant you could ever come across and after losing Snoop, Tina, Buster and Derek recently he just felt like the perfect company at home. Hank the Tank is now my dog. After a tough life he is right here he needs to be…home.
