Off duty officer had to chase shoplifter though the store only to get sprayed as the criminal makes their escape. An off-duty police officer working security at a department store was alerted to an active shoplifting incident. The officer confronted a female suspect near the exit doors as she attempted to leave with a large bag of unpurchased merchandise. When the officer tried to detain her, a struggle ensued. The suspect broke free, ran through the store aisles, and fled into the parking lot. The officer pursued the suspect to a parked white sedan. As he attempted to pull her from the driver’s seat to place her under arrest, the woman produced a can of pepper spray and sprayed the officer This allowed her to put the vehicle in reverse, navigate out of the space, and flee the scene. However, during the initial struggle, she dropped her purse, leaving her identification behind for investigators. Officers deployed to the address listed on her ID. Upon arrival, they witnessed the woman pulling up to drop off a young child. Spotting the police presence, she immediately took off again, initiating a secondary high-speed pursuit. During the chase, the suspect reached reckless speeds of up to 100 mph. The pursuit finally ended in a residential neighborhood after the suspect lost control of the vehicle, nearly driving it into a local retention pond and drainage ditch. She was quickly apprehended by responding officers in a nearby grassy area. While detained, the suspect admitted her actions were reckless but claimed she only used the spray because she felt the initial off-duty officer had been too rough. She was booked into custody and formally charged with Shoplifting, Felony Obstruction of Law Enforcement, and multiple traffic offenses stemming from the pursuit. How did you feel about how the officer at the end was speaking with her? Was he feeding into her story just to get her to admit more, or was he agreeing with her excuses of why she acted the way she did?

Man Charged With Assaulting Woman, Child & Police Officers In Scotland. A 25-year-old man whose name has not been released has been charged after a shocking early morning rampage in a peaceful Scottish suburb, where he terrorised a woman and a young child before turning his fury on police officers. The disturbing incident took place around 9am on Monday, June 15, on Braeside Drive in Barrhead, East Renfrewshire, as families were beginning their day. Police rushed to the scene after frantic reports of a man running wildly through the traffic, darting between cars and trying to get into vehicles in what witnesses described as completely erratic and frightening behaviour. Footage circulating on social media shows the chaotic aftermath, with the suspect pinned to the ground by several uniformed officers in a violent struggle. He was eventually fitted with a spit mask amid continued resistance before being bundled into the back of a police van. Multiple patrol vehicles with flashing blue lights swarmed the area, turning the normally quiet neighbourhood into a scene reminiscent of a major incident. It is understood the man allegedly assaulted both a woman and a child during his frenzied outburst, before launching attacks on the responding officers. A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed: "Around 9am on Monday, 15 June, 2026, officers received a report of a disturbance on Braeside Drive, Barrhead. A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, June 16, 2026." No updates have yet been released on the condition of the woman, child, or injured officers. The suspect's identity is being withheld at this stage. #UKNews #CrimeNews #Scotland

🚨THREE days before executing Alex Pretti, the SAME agents almost killed another U.S. citizen…🚨 While illegally detaining unaccompanied minors, using excessive force, causing multiple car accidents, and assaulting multiple U.S. citizens… all in one video. The video starts with agents checking the ID of a 16-year-old girl they had just hit with their car. She has a U.S. passport. They don’t care. They had already taken her 15-year-old brother after scanning his face. They seize her passport, and then handcuff her. At the front of the car, you can see a U.S. citizen legally observing. Not interfering, or moving. Just filming. Suddenly, agents swarm them and tackle them to the ground. Multiple men put their full body weight on the person’s back. One agent hits them in the face, and then pushes his knee into their face, while another pulls the person’s hair… All while the person lays motionless. Their nose starts bleeding into the snow. They’re struggling to talk, let alone breathe. All while they are not resisting. When the agents finally lift them up, blood is running down their face. And the agent’s rampage continues. Agents are then seen smashing a car window and try to grab the driver while the car is not in park, nearly running over another agent in the process. Multiple people are now on the ground. One man has been pepper sprayed, his glasses knocked off. A woman walks up. Without warning, an agent pepper sprays her directly in the eyes, blinding her, while they yell at her to move. She can’t see where she’s going, so the person filming has to lead her to the sidewalk. The camera turns back. The man who was pepper sprayed earlier is now standing, lethargic, disoriented, and unable to see without his glasses, and with pepper spray in his eyes. They slam him back to the ground. An agent walks over, pepper sprays him again, inches from his eyes, and casually walks away. This is believed to be the same agent who later shot Alex Pretti in the back. As three agents put their full weight on this man, other agents begin throwing tear gas, including a canister thrown right next to his head. The entire area fills with thick smoke. You can hear agents accidentally hitting a car because they can’t see. After multiple pepper sprayings, physical assault, and tear gas deployment right next to his face, the agents simply stand up and walk away. They leave him lying in the middle of the street, surrounded by smoke, without glasses, effectively blinded, after already causing crashes due to lack of visibility. Eventually, he manages to get up and run for help, begging bystanders to assist him. And these are the same agents who later illegally assaulted women for filming, then assaulted Alex Pretti for helping them, using excessive force, pepper spray, and bear spray… Before tackling Alex Pretti, beating him, removing his legal firearm… and executing him. This is what happens when agents are trained to ignore the Constitution, are protected from consequences, and told that violence is policy. If this blatant abuse is allowed to continue, it’s no longer a question of if another U.S. citizen will die… It’s only a question of when, and how many more they think they can get away with before anyone stops them.

VIDEO: Texas father shoots carjacker attempting to steal vehicle with family inside ... GARLAND, Texas - Garland police say a driver shot a man who was trying to carjack him in a parking lot. The incident was captured on surveillance. Police say the man tried to steal several vehicles by force yesterday afternoon, before trying this one near Highway 66 and Dairy Road. A majority of the family members were inside the car when a carjacker tried to steal it. The carjacker was shot and killed by the father during a struggle captured on video. Surveillance video shows a man attacking and trying to carjack a family of eight in Garland on Sunday afternoon, before the father shoots and kills him. Tatiana Starks manages Garland Smoke and Vape in a shopping center near the incident. "You could definitely tell that he was not in his right state of mind," said Starks. "I’m just glad that the man was able to protect himself and his family." Garland Police Department says the carjacker initially crashed into two other vehicles. "While we were responding to the scene, we received more information that the driver of that car had exited and immediately began physically trying to get into other vehicles in the parking lot," said Lt. Pedro Barineau. Starks says she saw the man breaking into several vehicles at a gas station, so she took cell phone footage. "He like tried to get into several different cars," she said. She stopped recording as the man began walking across the street toward her. "He ended up going into their car." The family of eight was unaware of what was happening, and what was about to happen. Video shows the carjacker in the peach shirt, confronting the father in the white shirt. The father struggles as the carjacker is trying to drive off with the family’s car with family members still inside. After nearly a minute of struggle, the carjacker, who’s in the driver’s seat, is shot by the father while he stands outside the car and near the passenger side door. Police do not expect to file charges against the father. "It seemed to be self-defense," said Lt. Barineau. "It kind of all happened like really fast." Starks is grateful to be talking about a story in which no victims were hurt. "It’s just a blessing that the kids and the family walked away with no injuries," she said. Garland police say they are still working to identify the suspect. Police did not recover any weapons on him, but they say he was absolutely using force to try and steal multiple vehicles and at the moment, that father did not know if that person was armed.

Morning scan: what's big news in #Georgia today, November 29: ● Throughout the night, thousands protested on Tbilisi’s Rustaveli Avenue against the Georgian government’s decision to suspend EU accession talks until 2028. Water cannons and tear gas were repeatedly used against demonstrators, with dozens—including journalists and politicians—being beaten. By 8 a.m., special forces cleared the avenue, detaining several dozen people and injuring others. Despite this, the opposition plans to resume protests at 7 p.m. tonight. ● Numerous eyewitnesses reported that during the crackdown, special forces specifically targeted journalists. Formula TV journalist Guram Rogava was brutally beaten while conducting a live report, microphone in hand, as captured clearly on video below. Alexandre Keshelashvili, a journalist for the online publication Publika, was detained and beaten, reportedly suffering a broken nose and is now hospitalized. Security forces also sprayed tear gas directly into the faces of camera operators to disrupt their work. ● President Salome Zourabichvili condemned the violent suppression of protests, particularly the targeting of journalists and political leaders, and urged a strong response from European leaders. Zourabichvili, who joined the protests and appealed to special forces to avoid violence, had earlier called the government’s decision to suspend EU talks a “final shift from Europe to Russia.” She declared herself the “only constitutional authority” in the country and called for unity and resistance, reaching out to Western diplomats, opposition leaders, and civil society. ● The Georgian Young Lawyers Association demanded the Interior Ministry disclose details of the gas used during the protest dispersal to ensure effective medical treatment for those affected. Experts suspect chemical irritants were also added to the water from cannons, with protesters reporting burns on their faces and bodies. The exact composition of the substances remains unknown. ● Human rights groups criticized the Interior Ministry for using disproportionate force, including freezing water in cold weather, which they called inhumane treatment. ● Around 80 employees of Georgia’s Foreign Ministry signed a statement opposing the government’s decision to halt EU integration. They warned that abandoning this opportunity could have severe strategic consequences, leaving Georgia vulnerable to external threats. ● On November 28, the European Parliament adopted a resolution condemning the October 26 parliamentary elections as fraudulent, refusing to recognize the results, and calling for sanctions against leaders of the ruling “Georgian Dream” party. 🔴 Every morning briefing on Georgia, #Azerbaijan, and #Armenia at JAMnews, here 📷

A 36-year-old businessman was beaten to death in Varanasi after his car allegedly hit a woman, leading to a minor injury. Manish Singh ran a factory manufacturing disposable leaf plates. According to a police complaint by his family, Manish Singh was returning home when his car allegedly hit Bindu Devi, who was washing utensils outside her home. Following the incident, Bindu’s relatives and neighbours surrounded Manish’s vehicle. When Manish stepped out to explain that it was an accident, the accused allegedly assaulted him with rods and sticks. Hearing about the incident, Manish’s family members rushed to the spot and found him unconscious on the road. He was taken to a hospital, where he died during treatment. The incident took place near Manish’s house and the factory he ran. Based on the complaint by Manish’s family, an FIR has been registered at Phoolpur police station against eight named accused and several unidentified persons. Station House Officer Atul Kumar Singh said police have arrested four accused — Harish Chandra, Manoj Paswan, Abhishek alias Buddu, and Yogendra. During the investigation, police also found the involvement of five more persons, and raids are underway to arrest them. A video on social media showed Manish Singh’s wife saying that the accused could have broken her husband’s hands or legs, but should not have killed him. A policeman was seen consoling her and assuring the family that strict action would be taken against those involved. To prevent any untoward incident, heavy force has been deployed in the area. The police are trying to find out whether there was any dispute between the businessman and the accused. Police said Bindu Devi has suffered a minor injury in her leg and her condition is stable. When contacted, Manish’s cousin, Abhay Pratap Singh, said the incident took place just 200 m from Manish’s home. The businessman is survived by his wife and three children. His eldest daughter is nine years old, and the youngest is a six-month-old son. Abhay said Manish worked in Gujarat but returned to Varanasi around six years ago and joined the family business.

A gun battle unfolded on the streets of a Northern California city this week that was captured in disturbing video — an incidence of violence that a police official likened to “an action movie” that nobody wanted to see happen in reality. The San José Police Department identified the carjacking suspect at the center of the incident, who shot and wounded an officer during a close-range gunfight before he was mowed down by a police cruiser and fatally shot. The gunfight marked the end of the suspect’s violent four-day crime spree across three counties that included armed robberies, carjackings, car chases and police shootouts, said San José Police Chief Paul Joseph at a news conference Thursday afternoon, a day after the incident. Mohamed Husien, 30, of Davis, was killed after being struck by a police cruiser and fatally shot, police say. (San José Police Department) “It involved at least six law enforcement agencies, who pursued the suspect across multiple jurisdictions as he placed countless community members in danger as gun battles unfolded in several cities,” Joseph said. The police chief identified the suspect as Mohamed Husien, 30, a resident of Davis. Husien was pronounced dead at the scene. The shootout, captured on video by news helicopters and witnesses, erupted Wednesday afternoon after the suspect crashed his car near Julian Street and Notre Dame Avenue, next to the offramp of Highway 87 and seven blocks from City Hall. The videos shared on social media show the suspect dodging a police cruiser attempting to run him down before opening fire at the officer and charging him. In the videos, the suspect fires his weapon from the rear of the police cruiser while the officer returns fire from the driver side before charging at the suspect as he started to move around the vehicle.. “The suspect continued to circle the [officer’s] patrol vehicle while firing at him from only feet away,” Joseph said. Another video shows a man and woman inside their vehicle watching the scene unfold, capturing the moment the officer is struck in the head. “He got hit in face, he got hit in the face,” the driver can be heard saying in Spanish, while the woman in the passenger seat begs him to get down. Leticia Timoteo told NBC Bay Area that she watched it all unfold from the 15th floor of her office building. “You could just hear gunshot, gunshot, gunshot,” she said. “It was crazy.” Joseph said the officer, who had recently been promoted to sergeant, continued to fire even after being struck by a bullet and bleeding from his head. Dozens of commuters found themselves caught in the middle of the gunfight, which ended when the armed suspect — trying to carjack a vehicle stopped on the road — was struck and run over by another police cruiser. Joseph said the suspect continued to move and was still armed with a firearm illegally equipped with an extended magazine, prompting officers to fatally shoot him. “This was a scene none of us ever wanted to witness in real life,” he said. “It’s the kind of footage people might expect from an action movie, but this was not a movie.” Joseph said a thorough investigation would be conducted into the shooting and to determine the suspect’s motive. He said investigators would also look at how Husein, a convicted felon, obtained the firearm used in Wednesday’s shooting. He said the police sergeant was expected to survive his injuries. Standing behind a wooden podium, speaking to a row of news cameras and reporters, Joseph declined to answer questions about the use of a patrol vehicle to end the gun battle, citing an ongoing investigation. “We always are hoping for a peaceful resolution to every incident like this,” he told reporters. “At every second of that vehicle pursuit, the suspect had the option of pulling over and surrendering. “We used tactics that are standard to try to get this person into custody safely,” he added, ”and unfortunately that isn’t the outcome that we had.” Joseph said the shooting brought to an end a four-day crime spree across Sacramento, San Benito and Santa Clara counties. He said the crime spree began on Jan. 17 when the suspect stole a red Corvette from a dealership in Sacramento. Later that day, he said, he robbed a convenience store at gunpoint in another city, followed by a second armed robbery at a San José liquor store. He said the suspect committed three more robberies the following day. At least one of those was in San José. Joseph said the department got a break Wednesday when a license plate reader flagged the location of the Corvette, prompting a police response. “San José officers located the vehicle and engaged in a brief pursuit,” he said, “before losing the vehicle and locating it unoccupied shortly thereafter.” At 2:01 p.m. that day, San José police received a call about an armed carjacking at a dealership in the 900 block of Capital Expressway. “The suspect brandished a firearm to an employee, stole a green Corvette and fled the scene,” Joseph said. Shortly after, he said, a police helicopter spotted the vehicle traveling south outside of San José and continued following, providing real-time updates to local police agencies. Hollister police officers and San Benito County sheriff’s deputies were notified when the vehicle entered their jurisdiction and attempted to stop the vehicle. But a slow-speed pursuit followed that ended in an officer-involved shooting. “The suspect fled and was located again where a second officer-involved shooting occurred,” Joseph said. He did not disclose the location of the second shooting. He said the suspect’s vehicle became disabled, prompting him to carjack a passing vehicle at gunpoint before fleeing the city of Hollister. Joseph said no officers or deputies were injured in the officer-involved shootings. “The suspect then fled northbound back towards San José. Officers from multiple agencies pursued the suspect as he drove at high speeds on the freeway, endangering motorists while attempting to evade capture,” Joseph said. “As the suspect reentered our city, San José police units assumed control of the pursuit on city streets.” He said the suspect crashed into a vehicle that was stopped at the intersection where the gun battle unfolded. “I can’t imagine the courage it takes to run towards a situation like that and not away from it, but thank God they ran toward it,” said San José Vice Mayor Pam Foley. “We are grateful for their service and for the sacrifices they and their families make, and we stand firmly in support of the San José Police Department and all of our first responders.”

Here it is: The January 6 Committee — an ABC production VIDEO: For 2 1/2 years, Capitol Police officer Aquilino Gonell has lied about the injuries he sustained on Jan. 6. He has testified under oath and in federal court proceedings that he suffered near-death injuries — including that he was unable to fuck his wife. The J6 video contradicts Gonell’s claims that protesters inflicted head, shoulder, hand, and foot injuries so egregious that he required surgery and medical leave (not to mention “mental health” trauma). In a victim impact statement made in court in May, Gonell told the judge that he was “bleeding from both hands, [had] a maimed foot, hit on the head, sprayed with pepper and bear spray, beaten, punched, pushed, pulled, and assaulted by many other rioters as they tried to gain entrance.” Here he is for several minutes near the body of Rosanne Boyland at around 4:50 on Jan. 6, after the staged protest ended. His hands show no sign of injury. Nor does his shoulder, as he takes off his gear. His feet seem fine — he is seen kicking items out of the area. And his head, which had been protected by a riot helmet, shows no sign of injury either. Not only did Gonell lie to Congress and federal judges in “victim impact” statements, he has repeatedly lied during media interviews and on social media about his experience. And here is when it gets even more interesting: In Judicial Watch v. District of Columbia, Judge Veronica Sanchez, a Biden appointee, ruled that the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) cannot censor or withhold body-worn camera (BWC) footage from the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot, including footage recorded by former officer Michael Fanone — seen sitting next to his bitch Aquilino Gonell. Now, keep in mind Nancy Pelosi was right there filming the entirety of J6.

The 21-year-old woman in #Nanded, #Maharashtra, who gained national attention as she "married" her boyfriend’s corpse after he was murdered allegedly by her brother, has levelled serious accusations against the local police force. #AanchalMamidwar alleged on Monday that two cops from Itwara police station abetted the murder of her lover, #SakshamTate, at the hands of her brother. The killing of 20-year-old Saksham Tate was prima facie a fallout of caste differences, leading to the arrest of Aanchal's two brothers, Himesh and Sahil, and their father, Gajanan Mamidwar. Aanchal Mamidwar claimed that her brother Himesh had taken her to the Itwara police station on the morning of the murder, and wanted her to to file "fake complaints" against Saksham. But she refused, she said. Policemen there escalated the situation with inflammatory advice, she alleged. She told to media: “Two police officials provoked him (Himesh), saying that he should go kill the man rather than getting into a fight with other people.” She further said, "The policemen told my brother, ‘Instead of making false cases, why don’t you actually kill him before coming to us?’ My brother took it as a challenge and killed Saksham.” Aanchal has met Saksham, who was from a so-called lower caste, as he was friends with her brothers. Their love affair of three years was the reason behind the “honour killing”. Police did not confirm the allegation about the comments made by cops, but said the case is being investigated. According to investigations so far, Saksham, 20, was standing with friends in Nanded’s old Ganj area on Thursday evening when a fight broke out between him and Aanchal’s brother Himesh Mamidwar. Himesh allegedly shot him, the bullet piercing his ribs. He then smashed a tile or stone on his head, killing him instantly. Himesh, his brother Sahil, and their father Gajanan were arrested soon after. Six people have been booked under charges of murder, rioting, Arms Act and SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Aanchal alleged a long history of police and her family colluding. She claimed that her father and brothers, against whom “several cases were registered”, have previously been to jail. But, she further alleged, "they “settled everything through adjustments with the police”. Responding to her claims, Superintendent of Police (SP) Abinash Kumar confirmed that Aanchal's statement has been officially recorded, but he added that she had not made any such claim before — about cops allegedly provoking her brother. The case first made headlines as Aanchal reached Saksham's home where his body was kept, and applied his blood as vermillion to “marry” him, “making our love immortal”.
