Jewish Leaders Blast NYC Mayor Mamdani After Upper West Side Stabbings Jewish community leaders in New York City are demanding stronger action and accountability after a suspected antisemitic stabbing attack on the Upper West Side Thursday. Suspect Raul Morales allegedly yelled “Allahu Akbar” while attacking a Jewish man and an Asian man in separate incidents near Central Park. The attack on the Jewish victim has been charged as a hate crime; both victims are in stable condition.
