A new generation of skilled trades workers is within reach. At the U.S. Infrastructure Summit, David Long, CEO of NECA, Sean McGarvey, president of The Building Trades, and Sean M. O'Brien, general president of Teamsters, emphasized the importance of apprenticeships in preparing workers for skilled trades careers. Future Builders, a $100 million initiative funded by The BlackRock Foundation, is focused on scaling access to these pathways and strengthening the workforce behind America’s infrastructure.
