Recently was talking to an older woman trying to get additional benefits for a disabled vet, with early dementia. The amount of paperwork she described was crazy to get an extra $1500/mo. How did these foreign fraudsters bypass or navigate that without inside help?

@scottbessentse8 It's not a coincidence that Sanctuary States have ever growing budgets. They to be audited for fraud, aiding/abetting invaders, voter fraud, etc. WA operating budget has grown from roughly $33.6B in 2013-15 to more than $80B today, an increase of about 139%.

Bessent is cracking down on fraud in Minnesota. Fine. That does not erase the larger record. A year ago the administration and its allies were talking about explosive growth — figures as high as 5–6% floated by top officials, while Bessent’s own “3-3-3” plan targeted sustained 3% GDP growth. Actual growth has fallen well short of those promises. Chasing fraud networks is part of the job. Delivering the economic results that were sold to the public is the bigger test, and so far that part has not been met.
