A San Francisco restaurant has closed down permanently after the owner shamed a food review influencer for not having enough followers, prompting the influencer to share the story, which then got 25M views. This story is wild. TikTok influencer 'ItsKarlaBB' with 15,000 followers at the time of her video, says she was invited to the Kis Cafe in Hayes Valley for a promotional collaboration. When she got to the restaurant, the chef and co-owner, Luke Sung, decided that she didn't have enough followers and that the collaboration was pointless. "He goes on to say that my audience and my followers are not the kind of people that are going to be at his restaurant," said the influencer. "It seemed like he was insinuating that my followers would not be able to afford to eat at this restaurant." Sung then allegedly asked the influencer if she knew who he was. He went on to brag that he was a James Beard nominee and his daughter had 600,000 followers. The restaurant has since announced its last night of service, which was Saturday. The woman at the window recording, ended up posting it on Facebook and the McDonald’s worker caught allot of backlash for the video because allot of context was missing. This happened on New Years Eve, that location was going to be closed at 8pm for the holiday, they ran out of food and stopped taking orders at 7:30 for that reason. At that point the Karen could have canceled her order in the app but refused because she felt it was unreasonable that the restaurant was closing early and ran out, she didn’t care that they couldn’t serve her what they didn’t have. So now knowing the full picture, should the McDonald’s worker still have been fired?

Woman outgrows dysphoria and struggles now with the grief over the fact that no one was able to help her in a way that didn't require she change. She's not yet named that anger and is still in a denial mode where she does not regret the permanent changes in the absence of the reason for them. I also used to say I didn't regret it and merely outgrew it, but eventually the warm glow of reclaiming your womanhood has to be seen alongside the fact that the cure I was sold was supposed to be the only answer, when time was also a cure because some do grow out of it. They told me it was permanent when it wasn't ever proven to be so. Now we know we could have waited for it to resolve, and now one must question, did the hormones actually delay that maturation process by which we outgrew dysphoria?

This group of friends were celebrating a birthday, they had brought heir own cake in which was purchased at a high end bakery in the area. The server said they could use that cake instead of theirs but it would be a $400 cutting fee so they cut it themselves outside, I would do the same, that price is outrageous. There was a time in Hudson, Ohio where we went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The restaurant was upscale but wasn’t like a 4 star place or anything. When I booked the reservation for 4 people we told them it was for a birthday. I asked them specifically if I was allowed to bring our own cake, our friend has food allergies and I had to get his cake at a specialty place that made a gluten free cake. They said it shouldn’t be an issue. They checked with the manager and the manager said it was ok. After having our dinner we were ready to do the cake. So I went to the car to get it so I could surprise him. At the door I was stopped by the hostess who told me it was against the rules to bring outside food in. I mentioned that I was told by a manager that it would be ok. They asked when I called and I said it was two days ago when they opened at 11am. She said well that was the day shift manager and he wasn’t there. She said we couldn’t bring in outside cake or food but they were happy to sell me one for $100. I said pass and I ended up just giving him the cake outside in the box as a gift so he could enjoy it at home.

Back at the pizza shop for whatever reason we always only had teenagers apply so most of my workers were all high school kids. There was this one 16 year old girl who was working there who is as entitled as can be. Anytime she made a mistake and it was brought to her attention, she would call her dad and her dad would come up to the shop to defend her. On this day we were short a driver so I was helping out delivering pizzas while I had the employees tend to the store. The 16 year old girl was trying to joke around and be funny, she through a dough ball at someone and it got stuck in their hair. Almost like gum it was a pain to remove. So that person in turn through a tomato at her and it splattered all over her clothes. She immediately got red in the face and started to cry. She had already clocked out and left when I got back from a delivery. About 5 minutes later her dad shows up and berates me for letting that happen to his daughter. I check the cameras and saw what happened and I even showed it to him but he still feels it was wrong for a tomato to be thrown at her so told him she started it and the other girl with the dough in her hair had to get some of it cut off. I acknowledged that both parties were equally wrong for participating in it but I wasn’t going to fire the girl who threw the tomato as she was responding to doing being thrown in her hair. He wasn’t exactly reasonable in response to my actions so I ended up banning him from the store.
