This is actual footage of a major attack by the Afghanistan-based TTP on a Pakistani paramilitary camp in South Waziristan two weeks ago (released by the TTP). It was one of the attacks that triggered Pakistani airstrikes in Afghanistan. The TTP, fully backed by the Taliban and Al-Qaeda, is no longer a ragtag group of terrorists. They are heavily armed, well-trained, well-funded, and possess more sophisticated weapons than the average Pakistani forces. Pakistani soldiers posted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan have become sitting ducks, and the leadership remains confused and clueless.

UPDATE: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister has announce a 10 million rupees compensation for those killed in the Tirah bombing, Khyber district earlier this morning. In the jirga with the elders of the tribe, a discussion took place to avoid any further incidents of the sort. Locals from the area said that the protest was also called off. However; there was no official word on it.
