Brovdi said Ukraine was facing an average of around 300 Shahed-type loitering munitions per day in August, often combined with waves of 30–50 missiles launched from different directions. He argued that no army in the world is designed to absorb that volume continuously, day after day, while relying primarily on conventional anti-ballistic and anti-drone interceptors. 🔥 His conclusion is brutally practical: the economics no longer work. BIG | 🇺🇸🤝🇺🇦‼️‼️ Washington is discussing a potentially transformative step for Ukraine’s air defense: licensing the production of Patriot systems and interceptors directly to Kyiv. According to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the United States is currently negotiating with Ukraine over granting a production license for Patriot air-defense systems and missiles. If finalized, the arrangement could allow Ukraine to build at least part of the Patriot ecosystem domestically instead of relying almost entirely on limited foreign deliveries. For Ukraine, this could be far more important than another one-off weapons package.
