Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei: We have reached a conclusion on a large part of the issues under discussion. The focus of the negotiations is on ending the war, and at this stage, we are not discussing nuclear details. Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, we have not entered into the details of this agreement. Iran and Oman are drafting a protocol for the safe passage of ships. It is natural that in this process, the services provided and the protection of the area requires the collection of fees. It is possible for the Pakistani delegation to visit Tehran again or vice versa; if necessary, this will be done. But in the current situation, we have not planned anything for a trip to Pakistan or a trip by the Pakistani delegation to Iran. Regarding Qatar’s role in the talks, the official mediator between Iran and the U.S. is Pakistan. Some countries have also played a positive role in this process to help resolve some issues. The Emir of Qatar has not visited Tehran. The Deputy Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Qatar visited within the framework of Qatar’s efforts to help advance the understanding that is being brokered by Pakistan.
