This is the Lavender Fire in Potter county, burning 18,300+ acres, but firefighters have been able to bring it to 40% contained. The 8 Ball Fire in Armstrong and Donley counties burned 13,500+ acres and is now 55% contained. Firefighters continue to work wildfires in Oklahoma, The Ranger Road being the largest at 283,000+ acres and 15% contained. The Steven’s Fire outside Hooker, Oklahoma is 13,000 acres and 60% contained, and the Poor Farm Fire outside Hartshorne, OK, is 9,000 acres and 25% contained.
