His family says a man and two women tried to rob one of Matthew's friends at gunpoint. Matthew tried to stop the gunman and for his trouble, he was SH0T THREE TIMES. This is a free family festival, it's been going since 2020. More than 1,500 people showed up for cultural performances, food, music. At about 7 p.m., prosecutors say 30-year-old Calvin Jones started HUNTING. First, they say he walked up to a 15-year-old boy who was walking with his SISTER, and punched him in the mouth, right under his left eye. For nothing, totally random, the kid did nothing. Then he walked up to two women and asked them for a cigarette. They said no. So he punched them BOTH in the face. Then, as a man walked past him carrying his ONE-YEAR-OLD CHILD... he punched that father in the face too. A man holding a BABY. Aurora police got there and took him down before he hurt anyone else and as they were arresting him, prosecutors say he spit directly into an officer's FACE AND EYE. They even say the U.S. Government could be behind it. I am serious! That's what some say. It's just not true. Breaking down the cases 1 by 1 over the 3 to 4 year time frame alleged: Maiwald- 61 and Hicks- 59 both died of Natural causes per ME/Information from Obituaries 2 down Leureiro and Grillmar- They were murdered. Leureiro by the crazed Brown shooter who admitted to the murder later confirmed by LE. He didn't even have a clearance. He instructed about plasma for MIT for heaven's sake. Grillmair was 67. He didn't have clearance either. He taught about water vapor and infared processing. He was killed by a career criminal on a crime spree. 4 Down Jason Thomas, 46 No clearance. He was in the Bio-Med field. Likely killed himself, tragically, distraught over recent deaths in his family, according to loved ones. He was found in a lake. 5 Down Charles Eskridge died of suicide - Confirmed. No Clearance. He was a DNA analyst. 6 Down Melissa Casias was an Admin Assistant. No Clearance. Worked at Los Alamos that employs 18,000 people. She left everything behind and even reset her phone before she left. Suicide is suspected. 7 Down Anthony Chavez- 78. Suspected suicide. He left on foot leaving his personal effects behind and was an avid hiker. 78 is a high suicide catagory for males. He developed tools for planet exploration. He retired clear back in 2017, his clearance long expired. 8 Down Steve Garcia, 35. He handled procurement for the National Nuclear Security Administration. He had a clearance. College students and young families park there every week. I am heartbroken by this senseless act of violence. Brett’s family are in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope that the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department will arrest the murderer soon, who is still at large. The Mayor of Indianapolis put out a weak statement that didn’t even mention Brett’s name, and so I wanted to come down to the floor and talk about who he was and what’s happening in Indianapolis. Brett’s murder is the second murder in downtown Indianapolis in less than a week. Just before the Indy500, Gregory Anderson, a father of five children, was murdered in the downtown bar district in Indianapolis. And then last Sunday, a 16-year-old teenager was murdered in the Northwest Side of Indy. Mr. President, these murders have no place in Indiana, especially in our capitol city. Indianapolis is truly a great city, and it has so much going for it. Indy is home to incredible businesses, world-class sporting events like the Indy500 which took place last week, and so much more. But what’s been happening in Indianapolis is an epidemic. Soft on crime policies are ruining this great city. How much longer will we allow this to go on? The reason Indianapolis is plagued by violent crime is because Marion County lets it happen. Marion County prosecutor Ryan Mears refuses to prosecute violent criminals. For example, one man in Indiana has faced over 30 criminal charges, most of them felony charges in Marion County, since 2020. This man should be locked up forever. But he’s not, thanks to Ryan Mears, liberal judges, and all of their soft-on-crime polices. And the rest of Indiana is punished for Marion County’s refusal to act. Ryan Mears is a prosecutor gone rogue. He refuses to keep violent criminals behind bars and is an absolute failure of a prosecutor. And it’s not only the prosecutor that refuses to enforce the law. State Sen. Andrea Hunley, also a Democrat, recently said with regards to crime in Indianapolis that “We are not going to ever enforce our way out of the problem.” That is not only a lie; it’s also an excuse. If we keep making excuses for why we can’t enforce the law and keep violent criminals in prison, we will never have safe neighborhoods and communities—and innocent people like Brett will continue pay the price. Everyone wants to talk about fairness, dignity and legal protections for criminal defendants. But what about Brett? Where was his fairness? Why do we talk about the dignity of criminals and never the dignity of their victims? We know how to keep our cities safe: we need to put large amounts of police officers on patrol, let them do their job, and ensure that criminals remain in prison. Officer Seriously Injured in Drug Sales Arrest; Suspect given $100 Bond Option BOULDER, Colo. – A Boulder Police officer was seriously injured last night after a drug suspect tried to run and the pair fell into Boulder Creek during the struggle. Despite the suspect’s criminal history, the serious nature of this crime, and the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office asking for a $20,000 secured bond, County Court Judge Eang Man gave the suspect a $1,000 bond with the option to only pay $100 to be released. “This incident is deeply troubling—not only because one of our officers was injured as a direct result of a suspect fleeing, but because it highlights the very real dangers that drug trafficking poses to our entire community,” Boulder Police Chief Steve Redfearn said. “I also have serious concerns about whether the full risk to our community, the severity of this incident, and risk to and impact on our officers was reflected in the bond decision. This is a pattern that is frustrating because these bond decisions directly impact community safety and the well-being of the men and women who serve Boulder, as well as their families.” Boulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty said, “This defendant is charged with a serious drug felony. It is especially aggravated because it happened in a public space in downtown Boulder. Then, the defendant caused significant and scary injuries to the police officer who attempted to enforce the law. I’m very thankful that the officer has been discharged from the hospital. Given the defendant’s criminal history, his actions here, and the injuries suffered by the officer, our prosecutor asked for a high, secured bond. That was definitely the right thing to do. Our office will continue to fight for justice in this case.” The incident began at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, when officers were patrolling on foot in Central Park at 1236 Canyon Blvd. after receiving community complaints about drug dealing as well as calls of overdoses in the area. Officers saw a woman smoking suspected methamphetamine and while speaking with her, she pointed to a man near the creek who she said had sold her the drugs. Officers then spoke with that man, but when they asked him to sit down, he started to run away. An officer gave chase and the pair fell into the creek during the struggle to take him into custody. Despite the suspect landing on top of the officer and the officer hitting his head on a rock in the water, the officer managed to get up, hold on to the suspect and get him into custody with other officers before he collapsed. His fellow officers called for an ambulance and the officer was transported to the hospital. The officer suffered a serious concussion and cuts and bruises but has thankfully been discharged and is recovering at home. “According to the Boulder County Coroner’s Office, there were 26 fatal drug overdoses in the City of Boulder in 2025, many occurring in public spaces. This is exactly why our officers were proactively working to identify and stop those who are selling dangerous, potentially deadly drugs in our city,” Chief Redfearn said. “Last night, our officers were doing exactly what our community has asked of us. If the water levels in the creek were lower, or higher, this situation could have easily resulted in a life-altering or even fatal outcome. We are incredibly grateful that our officer was not severely injured.” The suspect in this crime—Kai Brown (date of birth 12/06/1976)—was found with several individually-packaged baggies of suspect methamphetamine. Within Nigeria, mainstream media has also largely remained silent. It further suggests that Michael’s life, like those of many Africans, can be taken without consequence or even acknowledgement. In the face of this, Nigerians and other Africans residing in Switzerland have taken to the streets in protest, demanding accountability, transparency, and justice. Yet the response from the Swiss authorities has been lukewarm at best. Swiss authorities' response thus far, has failed to meet the minimum threshold of transparency and urgency required in such egregious cases of state-sanctioned violence. Upon being officially briefed by Mr. Ekemezie’s devastated family, our legal team immediately began the process of seeking justice through diplomatic and legal channel aimed at invoking all available international legal and diplomatic mechanisms. We have since submitted a detailed and strongly-worded petition to the Swiss Embassy in Nigeria, demanding the immediate identification, arrest, and prosecution of the officers involved in this heinous act. Among other things, our petition calls for: 1. A full, independent, and transparent investigation into the incident; 2.Public disclosure of the identities and roles of all officers involved; 3.Immediate suspension and arrest of the officers pending investigation; official apology and appropriate compensation for Michael’s family; 5.Concrete reforms to prevent such abuse in the future. My beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, I speak to you today with a heart weighed down by grief, yet burning with a call to love, compassion, and truth. Before us is a brother, one of us who stood helpless on a dark day when evil showed its cruel face. He begged, not for riches, not for power, but for mercy… mercy for his family. Imagine it, dear saints. Imagine standing there, powerless, as your loved ones cry out. Imagine hearing the voices of your wife, your children, your relatives screaming, pleading, calling on God, while you can do nothing but weep and pray. Imagine watching the people you love most beg for their lives, only to watch those voices fade… one after another… until silence falls. A silence so loud it pierces the soul. This brother watched his family breathe their last breath before his eyes after the Fulani herdsmen attack. He survived, not because he was stronger, but because God still had a testimony to tell through him. His heart now carries wounds no medicine can fully heal. The Bible says: “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:17–18) Beloved, this is not just a story, it is a living pain among us. This brother is the Good Samaritan’s wounded man lying by the roadside of our generation. Jesus asked a question that still echoes today: Who will stop? Who will care? “When one part of the body suffers, every part suffers with it.” (1 Corinthians 12:26) If one Christian bleeds, we all bleed. If one family is destroyed, the Church must not be silent. The blood of the innocent cries out, just as Abel’s blood cried from the ground. “The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground.” (Genesis 4:10) This brother’s life is now a living cry, crying for comfort, crying for justice, crying for love. Jesus Himself warned us that the world would be cruel, but He also commanded us to be His hands and feet. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4) How will that comfort come, dear brethren? It comes when the Church rises. It comes when we pray, when we give, when we stand with those who can no longer stand on their own. True Christianity is not only spoken from the pulpit; it is lived in compassion. “Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress.” (James 1:27) This brother is now surrounded by memories of screams, fear, and loss. Trauma has become his daily companion. Yet the Word of God gives us hope: “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5) Beloved, let us be the morning God sends into his night. Let us not harden our hearts when we hear such cries. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2) Today, I plead with you, not as a man, but as a brother in Christ. Open your hearts. Pray for him. Stand with him. Support him. Let the love of Christ flow through us, so that even in the ashes of tragedy, hope can still rise. May the God of all comfort strengthen this brother. May the Lord heal his broken heart, restore what was stolen by violence, and remind him that though his family is gone, he is not alone. “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14) May God awaken His Church to love in action, in Jesus’ mighty name. Jesus Himself warned us that the world would be cruel, but He also commanded us to be His hands and feet. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4) How will that comfort come, dear brethren? It comes when the Church rises. It comes when we pray, when we give, when we stand with those who can no longer stand on their own. True Christianity is not only spoken from the pulpit; it is lived in compassion. “Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress.” (James 1:27) This brother is now surrounded by memories of screams, fear, and loss. Trauma has become his daily companion. Yet the Word of God gives us hope: “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5) Beloved, let us be the morning God sends into his night. Let us not harden our hearts when we hear such cries. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2) Today, I plead with you, not as a man, but as a brother in Christ. Open your hearts. Pray for him. Stand with him. Support him. Let the love of Christ flow through us, so that even in the ashes of tragedy, hope can still rise. May the God of all comfort strengthen this brother. May the Lord heal his broken heart, restore what was stolen by violence, and remind him that though his family is gone, he is not alone. “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14) May God awaken His Church to love in action, in Jesus’ mighty name. If this is not foreign interference, then what is? 3. When he insinuated that Tinubu was then activated by the US government and intelligence agency after this meeting to help them make Buhari president, is he not confirming that Tinubu is a US government and intelligence asset? When it comes to USA, the average Nigerian elite and masses see no evil, and sense no evil even if the US ot democrat are caught pant down in a conspiracy. That was why this intelligent man did not realise that he was confessing to treason. Plotting against a sitting president of Nigeria with a foreign government. While I appreciate his candidness in this interview, I really have to point out this disease of the mind that many Nigerians have. It is this disease that is making some people who ordinarily should know better take these ignorant stance on everything democrats and US do against African nations and black people. And it is very sad how many of us are so disloyal to our own people and our own land. History repeats itself. This is capturing your own people and selling them into slavery to white man happening all over again. And many black people are partaking in this wickedness, knowingly and unknowingly, again. It breaks my heart. If you are one of those struck by this disease, I can educate you, but it is dawning on me that I must first cure this madness before any education can be impactful. I don’t care about your politics anymore. I really don’t. If you’re still justifying ICE’s actions you’re done. That isn’t a disagreement anymore, that’s a moral failure. The claim that Alex Pretti, a 37 year old ICU nurse, was aggressive or that he was there to kill officers is not just false, it’s evil. It’s a deliberate lie. Kristi Noem repeating it isn’t confusion or poor judgment, it’s a malicious lie. This is the same woman with a documented history of cruelty and dishonesty, and now she’s in charge of Homeland Security. That should terrify everyone! If J.D. Vance and Trump’s team don’t cut her loose, they risk losing their base. This isn’t just Democrats anymore Republican supporters are fed up too. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: no one was ever opposed to deporting illegal immigrants, whether criminals or non-criminals. The justification was always public safety removing people who harm others, who commit violence, who kill. That was the idea! But now the very force that was supposed to protect the public is killing and harming American citizens! At that point, the distinction collapses. If an innocent American is killed, it makes no difference whether the trigger is pulled by a gang member or a federal agent. The outcome is the same: death, fear, and destruction, and I would argue it is even worst when your own is killing. The Trump administration has failed catastrophically with ICE and with Kristi Noem. And let’s be very clear about what’s happening. This is how authoritarianism starts. You give intelligence agencies and private contractors like Palantir powers they should never have and you're doomed. You normalize armed federal agents patrolling American streets. You lie about killings that are caught on camera. Then you label citizens “domestic terrorists” to justify it. First it’s immigrants. Then it’s protesters. Then it’s journalists. Then it’s you. Alex a 37 years old, an ICU nurse at the VA, no criminal record, no violence and he was shot and killed, Just like Renee Good before him. Both were American citizens. Both were immediately smeared by the government as violent extremists. The videos are clear. Alex was filming something every American has the right to do. He approached no one aggressively. He was holding a phone. He was pepper-sprayed for no good reason. His legally carried firearm was removed by ICE. We have second amendment rights in this country, we can exercise them if we want to and honestly - in this American, seems to me we should do it daily! Only after he was disarmed and on the ground did an agent shoot him multiple times, in the back.And yet top officials Kristi Noem, Stephen Miller, Greg Bovino went on camera and flat out lied. Not misspoke. Lied. they claimed he was ready to kill ICE officers. This is an attack on American peoples and their rights with bunch of lazy hater in uniforms. If the shooting were justified,they wouldn’t need to fabricate a story, they would not need to make things up.This is what should outrage everyone, regardless of where you stand on immigration or ICE. A government that lies this brazenly. When video evidence is available to anyone is a government that believes it no longer needs public consent to do anything.That is dangerous. There is no democracy in this country but at least we were always able to push back, now we have these people who think they are above the law everywhere. In foreign policy and oil, and in domestic policy too, I bet they’re about to learn their lesson. I’ve spoken to many cops who have pushed back against ICE officers, confronted them, and openly criticized them. Because at the end of the day, cops are regular Americans. They live in our neighborhoods, care about people and public safety, and took an oath to protect. Now they’re defending Americans, standing with them against these brainless haters in uniforms and that is something we should be proud of. As the daughter of a detective, I am extremely proud of these cops who are pushing back and protecting citizens. ICE is unprofessional; they are poorly trained, scared, and operating on hate nothing more. That’s something you see in North Korea not in this country. Enough is enough! Republican especially, should be alarmed. For years, the right warned against armed federal agents patrolling American streets. Waco, ruby ridge, DHS itself was controversial when it was created. The second amendment was defended precisely as a safeguard against government overreach. Here’s the new standard in America: if you are legally carrying a firearm, even if you never touch it, never threaten anyone, never break the law the government can label you a terrorist and kill you. Even if you are an American citizen. And the hypocrisy is staggering. These are the same people who screamed nonstop to free Kyle Rittenhouse, defending the principle that legal firearm possession or use in defence does not equal criminal intent. But now that ordinary Americans who fit that same standard are standing in front of them, they’ve completely reversed course. Suddenly, legal gun ownership is enough to justify lethal force. I’ve always been clear about this: when Trump is right on policy be it domestic or foreign, I give him credit, I support him fully. I’m not driven by blind loyalty so when he is wrong I speak up just as quickly and honestly. But this crosses a line. If the government can kill you for exercising a constitutional right without action, without threat, without due process, then the right itself no longer exists. That is not law and order. That is tyranny. If that’s the rule now, the second amendment is dead. What we are seeing is not law enforcement, it’s power without accountability.
