BREAKING: Wigan Athletic has been deducted three points from the 2022/23 Championship table after the Club failed to pay player salaries again in March 2023.

I'm sure this won't damage their season. Still think they will win the league.

EFL approve these owners then just stick the sword in to finish these clubs off instead of taking responsibility. They seem desperate to help put clubs out of business instead of trying to remove ownership they allowed.

Don’t hurt the owners only the fans.

Instead of fining teams and deducting points why don’t the fa/efl/premier league stop this from happening in the first place.

The thing with deducting 3 points is also taken away from the players so I would call that kicking them while they are down from not getting paid.
